    Inspired by a Church Sermon that said “don’t be like Homer Simpson”, I started watching The Simpsons to decide. Is he really that bad?  After a trip to the dentist this morning, I figured I would break my own rules, and jump from series 1 to somewhere deep in the forth season to talk dental plans, and that Lisa needs Braces...  In Homers defence, he spends most of this one trying to get a dental plan for Lisa.

In the Telltale Head, Bart pulls a prank, asks Homer for advice, the family go to church, and father and son face the first Springfield mob - together. Somewhere in the midst of the above we have a look at what and how we show respect.

    In Defence Of Homer Simpson - The Call of The Wild

    Inspired by a Church Sermon that said “don’t be like Homer Simpson”, I started watching The Simpsons to decide. Is he really that bad? Basically it’s a yes and No answer... in The Call of The Wild. Yes it goes a little bonkers at the end (Remember it’s a TV show), but considering how bad the trip goes... he never goes off on one at his kids... in fact you could argue this is all him, trying to do the the right thing for his kids. (That. And keeping up with the Flanders)
