God's word has changed my life and my passion is that people would understand and obey it. The truth of Scripture has the ability to "renew our minds," "give us joy," and "transform us into the image of Christ."

In this series I will be walking sequentially through the Gospel of John with the goal of highlighting the context, themes and applications from the text. In doing so, the hope is that we would "believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God" and love Him more.

    Ruth: The Coming King

    Ruth: The Coming King

In this episode, Jonny Ardavanis lays out the framework for understanding the book of Ruth. The book of Ruth is juxtaposed against the backdrop of the time of the Judges, a time of great wickedness for the people of God. Throughout the book of judges there is a reoccurring theme: “there was no King in Israel.”
The anticipation of a coming king functions as one of the main thrusts of the entire Old Testament. In the book of Ruth, we see how God is providentially orchestrating His plan to bring about His king through every day people and amidst pain, suffering and famine.
In order to understand the book of Ruth, we need to understand why it was written. Ruth was written to reveal God’s providential plan in bringing about His redemptive purpose.

In this episode Jonny Ardavanis teaches through Titus 3:1-8 and surveys 4 truths to remember in order that we might be effective agents for Christ in a dark and decaying world.

Fundamental and absolute

This ministry is so needed now. Listening to Pastor Ardvantis’ teaching you feel the authority and absolute power of the word being preached.
It shows up the inadequacy of so much of the teaching today that is weak and failing in its mission to glorify God and to know Him.
I am so grateful for this message.
