Fantastic

There have been a number of attempts at ambient themed shows over the years, but this one hits different. In the past, a lot of ambient shows were just sound collages and mixtapes and you had no idea who was doing what. It’s refreshing to see the homework done on this show to properly give context to each piece of music. Abstract art without context can often just feel like wallpaper, but when you know a bit about where it comes from, it can take on a whole new meaning. It’s nice to see a show that doesn’t just care about the sound, but also cares about the backstory.
