The goal of DidacticsOnline.com is to provide reviews and comments on various topics in medical discussion. Didactic discussions are an important aspect of medical education.
We also hope to add what we refer to as an “Osteopathic voice” whenever possible. We will include information on Osteopathic practices and principles; including approach to patient, use of Osteopathic manipulative therapy and various aspects of the Osteopathic profession.
Didacticsonline does not aim to replace other more comprehensive resources. We hope to be a supplement resource and a catalyst for further discussion.

Great review

Great review for pharmacists as well! Good job!

Some good science some bad science

The whole omm is very broadly looked at and therefore a bit vague. Usually some DO just says they've had success doing something vague to help a patient. Ignores the fact that another doctor is acting as an adjunct treatment for patients. Otherwise they do a good job covering the important material for select topics. Definitely doesn't put omt on a pedestal so I think any med student could benefit.

Great podcasts

This is a nice review for some common medical issues. As an OMS III on rotations it will be useful to have a trusted source for OMT review, as it is difficult on some rotations to keep up with using it. Thanks NSU Fellows!
