I met Dietician Dad through TikTok. I have always found humor in his content and he is just absolutely realistic. I am a VSG patient and I have struggled throughout my journey. Anytime I’m really struggling, I come across his page on my FYP and he always has something to encourage or support me. I reached out to him and told him I was struggling and he sent me over to the podcast. I appreciate the fact that he shares insight and helpful advice to anyone that needs it. His advice is sound and within reason. He doesn’t set any unrealistic expectations of anyone and gives me ideas of things to work on. I am eager to use what I am learning through the podcast to break my plateau. Michael is always friendly, supportive, and professional. I value his candor, advice, and personality! On a personal level Mike is my husbands childhood best friend, and they remain friends to this day. I have the privilege of knowing Michael on a personal level but also professionally. I have gone to Mike for weight loss advice and bariatric surgery advice. I can honestly tell you that you will not get a more genuinely honest and good person to answer your questions. I wish I could use him as my dietitian through my bariatric program but we are in Ohio. But I have to say finding this podcast has been a LIFESAVER. Mike is honest, concise, educated and open to all comments, criticisms and concerns of his listeners. Let me say you do NOT get this with all podcasters. I cannot say enough good things about this podcast and the important information I have learned not just about bariatric surgery and the process but just weight loss in general. I stopped listening to my true crime podcasts and have now finished every episode of mikes podcast and I cannot wait for the newest episode. Do yourself a favor, listen give him a chance because I promise his knowledge will impress you! Keep up the amazing work Mike, cannot wait for the new episode! ♥️
