    The Joy of Motherhood

    The Joy of Motherhood

The renowned author, Jill Churchill wrote, “There’s no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.”

In this episode of Digging Deep for Treasures, I invited two beautiful mothers to join me in conversation
    about motherhood.

Caroline Cormier is a mom four heavenly babies and one earthly 21-year-young daughter, a lover of all things Disney,
crafter, and travel lover. God, family, friends, everything else is how she prioritizes her life. She finds the bright spot in everything, and always see the
good in everyone else. She was born in New Jersey and has lived in Texas and Oregon in addition to California. She’s been blessed with the ability to be a
stay-at-home Mom, allowing her time to take care of her mom. She writes: Life is always good!

I have known Gail for more than twenty years, but it brings me joy to know her more as our friendship grows. Gail was born in Accra, Ghana, Africa, a fact I didn’t know until this podcast. She grew up in SF Valley, CA, was a home childcare provider and a homeschooler mom. She is a lover of God and His glorious Word, The Bible.

I hope this episode blesses you, moms, moms to be, grandmas and all who love like a mother loves.

The Lord's Faithfulness in the Dark Valleys of Life

The Lord's Faithfulness in the Dark Valleys of Life

Psalm 100:3 tells us, “Know that the LORD, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture." In this psalm and numerous other passages in the Bible, we and our relationship with God is compared to that of sheep and his shepherd. Like sheep, we need not only food and water, but also shelter and safety from predators as well as the valleys of darkness in life. In this episode, my guest, Hadassah Treu shares with us how God, as her good and faithful Shepherd, sees her through her valley of darkness and how He, too, can do that for you.

Hadassah Treu is an award-winning Christian author, blogger, and poet, the Encouraging Blogger Award Winner of 2020. She is passionate about encouraging people on the journey of faith and a deeper walk with God. She is a regular contributor to the faith-based platforms Devotable and Koinonia; COMPEL Proverbs 31 Ministries Blog writer and Freelancing Community Group leader, and Blogger Voices Network contributor. Hadassah is a contributing author to several faith-based devotional and poetry anthologies. She has been featured on (In)courage, Proverbs 31 Ministries, Living by Design Ministries, Thoughts About God, Aletheia Today, Today’s Christian Living, and other popular sites.

Navigating Through the Storms in Life

Navigating Through the Storms in Life

Storms are scary and devastating. As a child growing up in the tropics, we experienced a lot of them--they were called typhoons. Though they could be scary, a lot of my friends and I welcomed them. We used to swim in the waters that pooled in front of our yards and loved the strong shower we got from the gutters of our homes. Storms do not only occur in nature, but we also get them in our journey through life as well. They could come from our finances, relationships, health, and other areas of life. We can expect them.  In John 16:33, Jesus tells His disciples: “I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” We see this in our own lives—storms come into our lives. But like Jesus told His disciples, we are to take heart. Today, we will be looking at Mark 4:35-41 to help us navigate through the storms in life. Stay tuned.

Fantastic!

I am beyond words to express my gratitude and awe toward my dear friend Cecille Valoria. I know her heart and it is deep with treasure to share. Cecille is obedient to God and shares her gift (treasure) of love for Jesus and “neighbors” with us as she invites fellow travelers on this life road of “God with us.” My heart resonated when the guest, Cecille Bibawy lit up (I could hear her love for God and His Word!) when they started talking about how God helped her to know HE is our Help and no one is like Him. Thank you gals for sharing treasure with us all. 💜🙏🏻💜
