Kip Wilson of Stoned Appetit on Denver Food, Cannabis & Community | Digging Deeper Ep. 5

Welcome back to Digging Deeper with Dialed In Gummies! The podcast where we go beyond the product and into the people, passion, and stories shaping the cannabis world. In this episode, we sit down with Kip Wilson, co-host of Stoned Appetit, Denver's go-to podcast blending food, weed, music, and hospitality culture. Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Mississippi, Kip found his way to Colorado in 2011, just before the green wave hit, and never looked back. With roots deep in the hospitality industry from New Orleans restaurants to Denver bars, Kip carved out a unique lane in cannabis media built on authenticity, community, and a genuine love for local culture. Alongside co-host Chris Bayard, he's grown Stoned Appetit into a respected platform that spotlights Denver's culinary and cannabis scenes through honest conversations and real local storytelling. Albie Montgomery on Cheddar DVDs & Boston Cannabis Community | Digging Deeper: On the Road Ep. 2

Welcome back to Digging Deeper with Dialed In Gummies! The podcast where we go beyond the product and into the people, passion, and stories shaping the cannabis world. In this episode, we sit down with Albie Montgomery, co-owner and general manager of Firebrand Cannabis a social equity dispensary located right across the street from South Station in downtown Boston. Albie's path to cannabis ownership is anything but conventional, and that's exactly what makes it worth hearing. Before Firebrand, Albie was deep in the streets of Boston's hip hop scene, building Cheddar DVDs  a distribution company that landed in Best Buy, Target, and Tower Records, and earned the title "CNN of the Streets" from The Source magazine. That journey took him from Cleveland to Oakland to Amsterdam, eventually connecting him with Berner and Snoop Dogg on a cannabis-focused series called What You Smoking back in 2009, when cannabis content was almost unheard of. Now Albie is channeling that same entrepreneurial energy into Firebrand, where 30% of customers are one-time visitors passing through from across the country and beyond. From first Saturdays deals to passport-holding tourists, Firebrand is becoming a Boston destination in its own right, with bigger ambitions on the horizon. In this episode, we dig into his journey from DVD distribution to dispensary ownership, what it means to build a community-first cannabis brand, and why knowing your business from the ground up is everything. Chris Haven on Denver Street Art, Skate Culture & Finding Your Voice | Digging Deeper Ep. 4

Welcome back to Digging Deeper with Dialed In Gummies! The podcast where we go beyond the product and into the people, passion, and stories shaping the cannabis world. In this episode, we sit down with Chris Haven, a Denver-born artist whose work has helped define the visual identity of the city. From the murals covering RiNo's walls to his iconic "pyramid people" characters, Chris has built a career rooted in authenticity blending graffiti culture, skate life, and traditional art into something entirely his own. What started as a young kid drawing cartoons with his grandmother evolved into tagging walls with his skate crew, which eventually grew into massive spray-painted murals, canvas pieces, and digital installations seen everywhere from Art Basel Miami to major events right here in Denver. He's collaborated with brands like Red Bull, Adidas, Modelo, and Mountain Dew and when he's not painting, he's making hip hop music or still hitting the streets on a board. In this episode, we dig into his journey from pencil sketches to public walls, how graffiti and skating shaped his artistic voice, and what keeps him rooted in the Denver culture that made him. Jose & Xander of Soiku Bano: Cuban Roots & Colorado Hash | Digging Deeper Ep. 2

Welcome back to Digging Deeper with Dialed In Gummies! The podcast where we go beyond the product and into the people, passion, and stories shaping the cannabis world. In this episode, Max sits down with Jose and Xander, the brothers behind Soiku Bano, one of Colorado's most respected small-batch solventless hash brands and one of the first brands to collaborate with Dialed In Gummies. A Cuban-American family business born from a literal lottery ticket, Soiku Bano got its start in 2016 when Jose and his wife Claudia were selected in a drawing for a cannabis business license in unincorporated Adams County. Jose made the move to Colorado in 2009, and by 2019, his youngest brother Xander had traded his marine biology studies in Miami for a new life in the Rockies and the rest is history. Together, the brothers built a brand rooted in family, quality, and community, earning a reputation for signature cold-cured rosin pearls and a connoisseur-first approach. The name "Soiku Bano" is a phonetic play on "soy cubano" meaning "I am Cuban" a nod to the roots that have always driven them. In this episode, we dig into it all. Their journey from Miami to Colorado, what it takes to run a family cannabis business, and how Soiku Bano became one of the most trusted names in Colorado hash.
