Unlimited Potential is a small ministry team made up of four former professional baseball players and one former big league umpire.     Remember And Choose Life

    In this episode, Teddy highlights how God is not looking for perfect people, but trusting people who remember who they are and whose they are. Teddy explores how the greatest battles we face are often not "out there," but within our own hearts and minds, where trust and fear compete for control. He then examines how God, the Author of life, sets before Israel two paths: one leading to life and blessing, the other to destruction. God's desire and plea is that His people would choose life. Finally, Teddy looks at Joshua and his calling to trust not in his own strength or ability, but to be strong and courageous because God is with him. Digging Deeper Reflection Questions: 1.     A Different Kind Of People

    In this week's episode, Simon highlights how God was forming Israel into a different kind of nation—a people who would reflect His heart, character, and nature to the world around them. Simon explores how seriously God takes sin, knowing that it never remains small. Once it takes root, it grows and slowly destroys people, families, communities, and cultures. He also examines God’s concern for the vulnerable and how His laws provided protection and care for those who would otherwise be overlooked or forgotten. Finally, Simon shows how Jesus is both the fulfillment of these laws and warnings, and the One who takes the punishment for mankind's inability to keep it, perfectly revealing the heart and character of God.     Take Care Lest You Forget

    In this week’s episode, Tony explores how Moses reminds the generation about to enter the Promised Land of what God has already done for them, and what He is about to do through them, as they carry the Kingdom of Heaven across the Jordan. Tony examines how sin and doubt can grow out of “temporary amnesia” — forgetting who God is, what He has done, and how deeply loved we are by Him — and how the remedy is to remember. Finally, he challenges us to examine our hearts and consider how easily we can desire God’s blessings and protection more than His presence, even though His presence is what should be most precious to us.     Our God Is Like No Other

    In this week’s episode, Brian closes out our time in the book of Numbers and begins the book of Deuteronomy by reminding us that the Kingdom of Heaven was never meant to remain stationary. Brian explores our tendency to crave comfort and predictability, while showing how a life of faith requires trust, movement, and dependence on God. He contrasts the many “gods” in the land with the one true God — the God who went to incredible lengths to make Himself known to His people. Through it all, Brian challenges us to go where God leads, even in fear and uncertainty, remembering that just as God was with Israel, Jesus is with us always. Digging Deeper Reflection Questions: 1.     God's Plan Is Best

    In this week’s episode, Mickey highlights God’s nature as He sovereignly leads, protects, and provides for His people while preparing them for the Promised Land. Mickey takes a deep dive into the story of Balaam, whom Balak hired to curse Israel. Yet instead of cursing them, God commanded Balaam to bless Israel and pronounce judgment on the Moabites. He also explores how God’s plans are always best, how He is not limited in the ways He speaks to us, and how His voice calls for obedience when He speaks. Digging Deeper Reflection Questions: 1.     Fear Is Not The Root

    In this episode, Teddy unpacks how fear influences our actions, but how it also reveals what is going on deeper in our hearts. Walking through these chapters, Teddy highlights how Israel’s rebellions and grumblings were rooted in fear of not having enough or being enough, exposing a lack of belief and trust in God and that He is enough. Teddy then points us to the way forward: fear isn’t defeated by trying harder, but by believing what is true—that God is with us, that He has provided and will continue to provide, and that He is enough.     In this week’s episode, Simon kicks off our time in Numbers 1–10, highlighting how Israel’s wilderness journey parallels our own, saved, but not yet in the Promised Land. He explores how their time in the wilderness wasn’t pointless, but purposeful, a season of learning to live with God at the center, trusting Him, and following His lead as He shapes them into who He saved them to be. Finally, Simon looks at the Nazarite vow in Numbers 6, drawing connections to Jesus as its ultimate fulfillment, fully set apart, completely surrendered, giving Himself to bring life.     Community Of Faith

    In this week’s episode, Tony wraps up Hebrews and takes us through James, highlighting faith—not just as belief, but as something meant to be lived out in community, stirring one another on toward love and good works. He then looks at Hebrews 11—the Hall of Faith—pointing out that these were ordinary people with deep trust in God and His promises, and challenges us to lay aside anything that hinders our walk with Jesus. Finally, Tony examines the authentic and loving community described at the end of James—one that rejoices together, confesses sin, prays for one another, and pursues and restores those who have wandered. He challenges us to honestly examine our lives and consider whether we are truly living out this kind of faith-filled community. Digging Deeper Reflection Questions: 1. Are you part of a healthy community of Jesus followers…Or are you going it alone? And if so, Why? 2. What are the weights that hold you back…Or the sin that so easily entangles you? Can you take those to Jesus?  3. And in your community…Are you practicing confession…forgiveness…and restoration?
