The Digital Arts Studios is an arts organisation based in Belfast (UK) which provides residencies, training and technical support for artists who wish to experiment with emerging technologies, develop skills and create new, innovative work. This podcast series introduces the artists connected with our organisation. We chat to our artists-in-residence, and the artists who facilitate our workshops to learn about them, their practice, and how our organisation helps support the wider artistic community.     In this week's podcast, I chat to Will Scobie about his unique illustration style and out latest workshop where he shows us how to translate 2D drawings into 3D environments using Blender's Grease Pencil. We also chat about how to challenge yourself and your work in order to stand out from the crowd. Will Scobie is an artist and Illustrator from Brighton, UK. Exploring line through playful and intriguing perspectives, he has recently been developing his unique illustration style into digital drawings, exploring how his drawings can evolve through 3D animation and VR.     Future Labs is a programme launched by the Digital Arts Studios in Belfast which aims to provide training and technical support for artists who wish to experiment with emerging technologies, develop skills and create new and innovative work. This podcast episode introduces our Future Labs facilitator Adam Pultz-Melbye. Adam has delivered our workshop on performing music online using the application Sonobus . We chat him about the application and what to you can expect from his workshop.
