Stick with it listeners!

I first heard about it from Standing Stone and Garden Gate, and as I'm want to do I started with the first episode. I was not enjoying it. The content was good, but the delivery and sound quality was not. I saw the most recent episode, and I read a positive blog post , so I knew I that I wanted to listen to it . After episode 4, I decided to just skip to episode 9, which was fantastic in content and delivery. I'm now going to listen to 5-8, because the content is worth hearing.

Try doing some prep

Seriously, are these hosts even trying to do a good job? I started with the first episode and it was awful. Bad sound, lots of awkward pauses and no real direction. Well ok, sometimes the early episodes of a new podcast are pretty bad, especially if the hosts are not experienced.

So I tried a later one. This one they recorded while driving in their car. She explains that and then it goes into "Ummmm .... so I don't know what to talk about." And he says "Well, ummm .. .(long silence ... long, long, long silence) ... I don't know. Umm... hey, look at that sign!"

Sorry, it's not interesting. It's not even bearable. It is frustrating because the episode titles are intriguing, but they're just not able to deliver on the promise.

Too quiet

I think I would like this more if I could hear it. I have to crank my speakers on my machine to actually listen to the conversation.
