    Slow Electronica Beats is the second edition of my Dirty Disco Sessions: Essentials series, a selection built around the slower, deeper and more spacious side of electronic music. This time I’m stepping away from the more obvious club tempo and letting the music breathe. Across almost an hour, the mix moves through slow electronic grooves, downtempo rhythms, warm textures and leftfield moments that still carry the Dirty Disco DNA. Essentials is where I return to music that has stayed with me. Some tracks may have appeared in previous Dirty Disco episodes, others may not, but every selection has earned its place because it is music I genuinely value, revisit and like to bring into my own DJ sets. These sessions are also about extending the life of great music. Release cycles move fast, but good records deserve more than a few weeks of attention. By bringing them back into these mixes, I can give the artists and producers behind them another moment in the spotlight.     Dirty Disco Sessions 001: Essentials - A Deep Fried Love Experience

    A Deep Fried Love Experience is the first edition of my new Dirty Disco Sessions: Essentials series, exclusive DJ mixes built around tracks that have become part of my personal musical DNA. For these Essentials sessions, I dig into both older favourites and newer discoveries. Some may have appeared in the weekly Dirty Disco episodes before, others may not, but they all have one thing in common: they are records I genuinely value and still love bringing back into my DJ sets. For this first session, expect just over an hour of warm, soulful and deeply grooving house music from artists including Folamour, DJ Koze, Detroit Swindle, Felipe Gordon, Girls of the Internet and more. Think deep grooves, chopped-up soul, dusty drums, disco DNA and plenty of that slightly off-centre Dirty Disco energy. These mixes are also my way of giving great records a longer life. Music moves quickly, but a good track shouldn't disappear simply because release week has passed. By bringing these selections back into the mix, I can put the spotlight once again on the producers, artists and labels responsible for the music that makes Dirty Disco what it is. And of course, this series is also a thank-you to everyone supporting Dirty Disco as a member.
