This is a refreshing podcast as it takes a different angle on the Disney community. When a new episode appears, it’s always at the top of my playlist! Great stuff!

I’ve been listening to this podcast since its inception along with all the other Jim Hill Media podcasts. In the latest D23 episode, you complained about almost everything. That’s a trait of your generation, the instant gratification generation. In the past, Disney would show blue sky ideas that got the crowds excited. But what happened when their ideas never came to fruition? People complained, even though the timeline for those changes fell around the time of COVID. Now, with the world economy a disaster, Disney is holding back and not making grand promises. So we got teasers for items (Dreamfinder, Spaceship Earth, Tomorrowland) instead of complete blue-sky plans. Josh is doing the right thing by NOT giving us details … yet. We no longer want false promises. We want to know what is ACTUALLY going to be done. What we did get was more information on the four new large park expansions in WDW, along with smaller park updates. You didn’t even mention most of those updates. I really question your fandom. You mentioned, in the same breath, mind you, that you didn’t understand the hype of the Yeti and that you never saw it when it functioned. So yeah, you will NEVER understand it. If Disney released a line of character hand stamps that resembled the old re-entry hand stamps, you wouldn’t understand the reason for them because you never experienced getting your hand stamped, the lemon aroma of the ink, and seeing the name of the character under the blacklight during re-entry. The podcast is fine if you assume that no one older than a millennial exists. You want this podcast to succeed? Bring in 2 more guests from different generations. Why do you think Disney Dish works so well? The generational difference between the hosts offers a wider perspective. All we get with Dis & Hers is one generation's perspective. Widen your stance.

I am so glad to have found this podcast. I have been going to WDW with my wife since our first anniversary in 1973. It is so great to listen to people who obviously love each other and their family so much and how they work trips to Disney into their obviously very busy schedules. Just listening to them brings back memories of piling my 3 (now adult) kids into the car at 3:30 in the morning to make our 15 hour or so trek to Orlando. The kids and mama would sleep until we were past Atlanta, so that no matter how much, once they were awake , they fought each other in the back seat, we were too far from home to turn around. They are all now proud Disney Parents as well. Thanks for all you do and all the valuable information that you provide 👍
