Jordan Crucchiola and Amanda Smith believe that not every disaster movie is a disaster. Whether it’s an A-List actor trying to outrun a lava flow, or a C-List actor punching a mutant shark in the face, Jordan and Amanda will find something to love - or to laugh about. Join them every Wednesday as they break down the highs and loves of a beloved (or under appreciated) entry in the disaster movie canon.

Meltdown (2009)
Thanks to some classic Tubi labeling, we're breaking from our usual genre with 2009's "Meltdown," an endearingly low-budget action thriller (with a lengthy digression into the Transformers series).
When a FBI agent goes deep undercover to bring down a crime syndicate his cover is soon blown and both the mob and FBI want him dead.

Great Podcast
I always have a hard time finding something to listen to while I’m at work. Especially when finding a good quality podcast. Sometimes their audio is horrible, other times the host(s) are annoying.
Imagine my surprise when I happened upon this particular show, one that combines my love of movies, and natural disasters! The hosts are wonderful and hilarious to listen to, and they really have a way of spinning each synopsis onto a different angle that really makes you think.
Always a good time listening! 5/5 Towering Infernos, you guys!
Disaster Divas Unite!
This show is great. Amanda and Jordan are so fun to listen to as the discuss and dissect the disaster movie genre. Come for the disasters, stay for the extended Charmin Bear/ Ray Liotta rants, disaster child adoption theories and Shelly Winters worship. The unofficial La Brea podcast until NBC stops being cowards. Love the show!
Man……
I enjoy any review on cheesy, disaster movies and shows. I’ve only dipped into the La Brea reviews so far. But man the amount of talking over one another is excruciating and beginning to be a chore to get through.
I can understand the ‘don’t like, don’t listen’ but still giving it time. So far….one star.
