Disney Countdown

Hi Jeremy and Megan! I am a Disney World girly who was raised in Miami and is currently living in Orlando. I am currently a registered nurse and has graduated from my masters as a Nurse Practitioner. I have felt exhausted, stressed, and overall overwhelmed. Disney has always been something to bring me happiness since I was a kid. Seeing yalls content has brought much joy and distraction from the stress of life and have reminded me the joy that Disney brings to everyone ! Grateful for everything yall do and cannot wait to meet you both one day ! Never been to Disneyland but want to do a trip next year. Hope to see you there one day and keep up the good work .

Tuesdays are the worst day of the week for me, so I intentionally wait until Tuesday each week to listen to give myself a little extra magic to make it through the workday. I am a new listener that joined alongside Jeremy and have had the pleasure of meeting him twice in WDW. Megan and Jeremy, thank you for providing all of us with a wonderful show each week.

Hi Megan and Jeremy, My name is Chi Chi, and I wanted to share how much your podcast has meant to me throughout college. I am usually more of a silent viewer and listener, but I engage with and support your content across all of your platforms. I rarely take the opportunity to say anything directly, but your podcast has had such a meaningful impact on me that I felt I had to reach out. Your podcast has truly been a guiding light and a place where, for an hour or more, I can step away from the constant noise and pressures of everyday life. I attend college in New York City, so visiting the parks is not always easy. Between my student schedule and the financial cost of traveling to Florida, and hopefully one day California, those trips can often feel out of reach. Still, whenever I hear your voices, the pressure I place on myself to constantly succeed seems to quiet down, even if only for a little while. For some context, I will soon be studying abroad in Spain for a full academic year. As the experience approached, I began to feel an overwhelming amount of fear and dread. I realized that I would be entering a completely new environment and would have to rebuild the sense of stability and community that I had worked so hard to create in New York. For about two weeks this past spring, I found myself crying uncontrollably at the thought of leaving. I struggled to find the motivation to attend class and felt consumed by the uncertainty ahead. During that time, your podcast gave me something comforting and familiar to return to. As I would leave my dorm, the podcast proved itself to be the pep in my step I needed to face the day. You all past, and present at the Countdown Network team have saved my life. Then, and now you guys have been my choice of relief whether on the train, studying for an exam, or finishing a paper. Your voices continue to give me something to look forward to as I slowly learn to let go of my fear of the unknown. Listening to the both of you has helped me take meaningful steps toward embracing this next chapter and developing a stronger sense of who I am. Although I may usually support quietly from behind a screen, I did not want to miss the opportunity to tell you both how grateful I am. Thank you both for creating a space that feels so joyful, comforting, and safe. Your work has had a greater impact on me than you may ever realize. I’ll pull the lever on this next adventure, and let it go as I go into the unknown all thanks to the two of you, and for that I’ll always be eternally grateful! I hope you both caught the references! I started listening towards the end of the Dapper Danielle’s run but started back near the beginning of Season 2. I’m trying to get caught up! I love listening to the chit chat, the Disney News, and the countdown list-du-jour! I will be sad when I run out of episodes to binge back-to-back!
