Disney Countdown

I found the Disney countdown show after seeing Danielle in reels all over my socials. I just renewed my annual pass at Walt Disney World for the third time. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember. I was born just a few days before Walt Disney World had a soft opening. I have bought both of Danielle’s books in hardcover and her audiobooks. And then Megan comes in, and the two of you together is gold! Thanks for all you do, and for keeping me company as I drive around Orlando o I especially I-4 to I-4!

Long-time listener, first-time commenter here! I just wanted to say thank you, ladies, for this amazing podcast and all the wonderful content you create. You truly help keep me sane in between my trips to Disneyland, which is no small task. 😄 Listening to your show feels like I’m sitting around with girlfriends, chatting about all our favorite Disney things, which I absolutely love. My Disneyland obsession started a little later in life. I didn’t go for the first time until I was 35, and I fully cried like a baby the moment I stepped out from under the train. I’ve always been a Disney fan (one of my first words was Donny Duck), but growing up, my family couldn’t afford the trip. Now that I make adult money, I’ve been back every year since my first visit in 2022, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. On my third trip, I even got to meet Megan! I then had to awkwardly explain to my mom why I was talking to a random lady in Cars Land, totally normal behavior, obviously. 😂 Thank you so much for stopping and saying hello! I’m so excited because I’ve officially started planning my first trip to Walt Disney World for my 40th birthday! I’m hoping I might run into Danielle, and I’ll definitely be carrying a book in my bag just in case I can snag an autograph. Do you have any tips or tricks for staying cool in early September? I found the Disney Countdown Show by accident when it was suggested to me based on other podcasts I listen to, and I’m so glad I clicked. I recognized Megan from Instagram reels and decided to give it a try — and I’ve been listening ever since. Every week you bring Disney info and news, sometimes a fun game, and always a countdown that ranges from parks to songs to movies (and everything in between). As a Disney World girly, I really connect with Danielle — I love her quirky personality and her knack for Disney World history. And I’m so much like Megan when it comes to my countdown picks, so it always feels like I’m listening with friends who love Disney the way I do. I’m currently listening to the audiobook for I Heart Disney’s Magic Kingdom while prepping my second baby’s first trip to the Florida parks, and this show has been such a bright spot in my week. Thank you for bringing so much light and joy to a topic that’s so dear to my heart!

2nd time reviewer here! Just need to point something out: I was re-listening to the emotional songs episode and was surprised that the song “Bless Us all” (the one Robin the frog/tiny Tim sings in muppets Christmas carol) didn’t make any of your lists? 🤔 maybe it was in the bonus lists?
