I sought out this podcast because I was anticipating a thorough breakdown of films and the overall Disney genre, but instead was met with a grotesque opinion-piece filled with capitalistic privilege. Allow me to sum up this podcast using one of the ‘dames’ own quotes: “guys, it’s just not very good.”

Jumped in with the Alice in Wonderland episode since it’s my favorite of the classics. What I really liked about the dialogue is that the Dames provide alternative perspective, but they’re perspectives that are audience based (which I appreciate). Even when they don’t like something, they balance the commentary with an understanding behind the choices made. Criticism is about expressing the faults AND merits, and this is what you’ll hear. - Frank of @DillosDiz
