A winner on any value scale.
As you can deduce from the name, this namesake is a wonderful mash bill of solid distilled spirit recommendations, a heap of lively guests, a scoop of challenging theological topics and a strong hint of Biblical & discerning discussion with a dash of friendship & humor. The nose is clearly and distinctly the aroma of Christ. The taste is a complex profile that is shallow enough to wade into but deep enough to drown. And, always a clean finish that leaves you in anticipation for the next episode drop. No haughtiness. No snobbery. You can tell the friendship between the hosts and the care and joy in discussing theology proper.
A very good show with great theological discussions. Satisfies a thirst for the knowledge of God.
This podcast is one of the best theology podcasts out there. The hosts are down to earth and approach the topics with a humble and approachable attitude that allows their audience to easily learn about weighty topics. I love their back and forth on theology..and of course whiskey. I really could picture sitting around with them and having a bourbon and talking theology as they give off a vibe of knowledge without arrogance.
