I don’t think there is anyone more qualified to teach you how to build fully distributed company than Matt. He is simply a savant at building a great distributed company culture and building amazing products along the way.

Two thoughts, One — I enjoyed your quote on freedom, once we taste it’s juices , it’s hard to return to our regular life. This is fitting for our current state of the globe. When we recover from COVID-19, everyone will re-evaluate their businesses , non-profits, academic institutions , etc. & question the old way of doing things vs the new way with distributed work. “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” ~Leonardo da Vinci Two — your discussion on globalization made me think of the late Clayton Christensen’s work around outsourcing & relating it to Greek Story of Theseus’s ship. Essentially, as a country, we need to know our core capabilities & which are critical to our long term success (10,20,30yrs).
