Well then you've come to the right place! Join me as I summarize Marvel comics issue by issue. The order is based on the "Modern" roadmap outlined in the Continuity Guide (continuityguide.net), a fan-made guide for reading Marvel comics.     Black Widow: Planet X, Part 2 - Itsy Bitsy Spider and Breakdown

    Black Widow's Itsy Bitsy Spider and Breakdown continue our journey through the Modern Era Continuity Guide. These stories follow Natasha Romanoff as she confronts Yelena Belova, a younger Black Widow trained to surpass and ultimately replace her. These espionage-focused stories explore identity, manipulation, and the lingering consequences of Natasha's past as a Soviet assassin. Itsy Bitsy Spider written by Devin Grayson and art done by J.G. Jones Breakdown written by Devin Grayson and Greg Rucka, art done by Scott Hampton I do my best to keep things relatively family friendly; however, some comics may cover sensitive or explicit material.

    Daredevil: Planet X, Part 1 - Guardian Devil

    Planet X is the first chapter of the Modern Era Continuity Guide, covering the period where Marvel began transitioning into what many readers consider the modern age of comics. While the chapter gets its name from a later X-Men storyline, we begin our journey here with Daredevil's Guardian Devil. This series was started in 1998, written by Kevin Smith and pencilled by Joe Quesada. Here is the link to Marvel Unlimited to start the arc, and the link to the Planet X Chapter of the Continuity Guide. I do my best to keep things relatively family friendly, however, some comics do cover sensitive and explicit material.

    Prologue 1: The Sentry

    Welcome to the very first official episode of Diving Into Marvel Comics! This episode covers The Sentry (2000) #1-5, Sentry/Fantastic Four (2001) #1, Sentry/Hulk (2001) #1, Sentry/Spider-Man (2001) #1, Sentry/X-Men (2001) #1, and Sentry vs. The Void (2001) #1. All the comics were written by Paul Jenkins. For The Sentry #1-5 and Sentry vs The Void, the pencil and ink done by Jae Lee with the color done by José Villarrubia. In the Sentry/Fantastic Four, the artists include Phil Winslade as the penciller and inking done by Tom Palmer with the color added in by Tom Chu. For the Sentry/Hulk, the penciling and inking were both done by Bill Sienkiewicz with the coloring done by José Villarrubia. We have Rick Leonardi as the penciler, Terry Austin as the inker, and Jeromy Cox as the colorist for Sentry/Spider-Man Finally, for the Sentry/X-Men, Mark Texeira did both penciling and inking, and José Villarrubia once again does the coloring.
