DJ Mike Presley

Mike Presley is a true Central Florida original with a career spanning over three decades in electronic music. He first broke into the scene in 1991 while managing Daytona Beach’s legendary record store, Atlantic Sounds. That role led to a groundbreaking opportunity on 99.9 FM, where he created and hosted the influential radio show Alternative Frequency. The show quickly gained buzz, landing him a residency at the iconic local nightclub Coliseum. After three years, Mike left the record store to fully immerse himself in the nightlife. Teaming up with two partners, he co-opened his first nightclub, Madhouse, where he served as resident DJ and shared the stage with some of the world’s top talent. One year later, the group launched the short-lived but beloved 3D, another local favorite. Mike expanded his reach as a resident at Orlando’s Ultraviolet and went on to win two DJ contests in the Central Florida scene. He later took his skills to the Midwest, playing major cities including Chicago, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Denver. After an 18-year hiatus, Mike returned stronger than ever — now active as both a DJ and a producer. His current sound focuses on breaks, progressive house, melodic techno, and tech house. As a producer, he has released numerous top-charting tracks on respected labels including Kaleidoscope Music, Gigabeat, Architektur Records, Phreak Recordings, ONE7AUDIO, 77DEUCE, Disko Intelligence, and Capital Heaven. He is also the founder of three independent record labels that showcase his diverse musical passions: * Orange State Music – dedicated to broken beat styles including Breaks, Electro, and Electronica * Both Pills Music – focused on Techno, Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and Organic House * Bake Shop Records – specializing in House, Bass House, Tech House, and Indie Dance Mike’s mixing style is fluid and immersive. He prides himself on seamless transitions that tell a story while maintaining a consistent, high-energy vibe — ensuring the dance floor never has a dull moment.
