How to Save Homeopathy with Paola Brown and Laura Held with Americans for Homeopathy Choice

How to Save Homeopathy with Paola Brown and Laura Held with Americans for Homeopathy Choice

There has been a recent threat to homeopathy worrying mothers around the country. Some of us lose sleep at night with the idea that homeopathy may be taken away from us - the idea that we visit our health food store to not see our favorite trusted remedies on the shelves seems unimaginable and quite frankly wrong. We worry for our children, for our grandchildren. Many of us rely on homeopathic remedies to help our children when sick - they are our go-to Doctor Mom tool. How can this be?
Rest assured mama - we are FIGHTING and we are fighting hard. And we have an amazing organization called Americans for Homeopathy Choice who are well prepared, organized, and have already proven to have an effective voice to make CHANGE!
Please welcome to today’s episode Paola Brown, president of Americans for Homeopathy Choice, along with Laura Held, the organization's grassroots leader. We had a great chat with them to learn more about their organization, and to clarify the common misconceptions going around about homeopathy being illegal (which it is not!) or if we are at risk of losing homeopathy overnight (again no we aren't!!)
This episode will help CALM your anxiety, address concerns and most of all teach you ways how to take action and SAVE homeopathy!
Whether you are in the season of motherhood where you have extra time to give to advocacy, or if you simply only have a few extra seconds here and there and want to help - we talk about ways for any mom to be involved and truly make a difference!  We encourage you to at the very least to visit their website at homeopathychoice.org and check out their offers.
For the mother who has little time - at the very least join their email and text alerts so you know when to send a letter or comment when we need to show the government that the masses want homeopathy to stay.  If you have more time and want to learn how to meet with your representatives, join the Homeopathy Action Team! In today’s episode, we discuss what that entails.  If you have the desire to donate to the organization we ask you to consider this too.
Paola and Laura are busy mothers themselves. The leaders of this strong organization are passion- fueled and more members and donations are what keep organizations like this strong and ready to fight - when we need them the most.
We are so excited to bring you this episode … there is a lot you can do as a Doctor Mom! We got this!
    Topics Discussed:
How does Americans for Homeopathy Choice advocate for homeopathy Is homeopathy being deemed illegal? Will homeopathy be removed from the marketplace?  How can we save homeopathy?  What does it look like to get involved  Show Notes:

Excellent work here mamas! Love all the insights, you are asking and diving into all the right questions and things us mamas need to know

goldenheart🍯 ,

Love the content but…

The content and interviewee’s are excellent. However, Dr.Elana is constantly yelling over and interrupting the guest. Often questions don’t fully get answered and Dr. Elana seems to just want to answer her own questions. But when the guests do get to speak it’s really useful information.

Maria MZ ,

Great with some feedback

Love the topics on here, but would prefer if the host didn’t interrupt the speakers so much. It seems to throw the whole conversation off track and then the original question doesn’t get answered.
