Domesticated Savages

Growing up in a LEO heavy family, my experience sitting around the family dinner table was apparently a bit different than most kids🤷🏼‍♀️… but I loved every minute of my childhood and growing up knowing my father was a real-life-super-hero and in all honesty, I miss those days now that we are all retired in one way or another… listening to this podcast though brings me right back to family dinner! This podcast makes me feel so nostalgic that about two weekends ago, I was in a down right, dirty rotten, nothing could go right the entire day- type moods. I decided to put on the latest episode to be released, “The Lost Episode”, and I am not exaggerating in the slightest when i say that in literally less than 10 minutes, my entire mood and my entire day made a full 180 degree turn and suddenly i could handle life again. Thank you Savages for reminding people that LEOs are human like the rest of us, even though they work in a job that people can’t seem to understand HUMANS are doing… voluntarily… for pennies. And thank you for your service. And Joss and to Fits’ and Joss and Jake’s kids, thank you for your service too, cuz i know on a VERY personal level that the family members serve as well, and sometimes we live with more of the side effects. I love the fun comedy and the informative tangents that they go on. I also love the segments that they go on like story form the skreets, world stories, and savage of the week. But the thing I love the most is fits contagious laugh. Love all you guys and stay savage.

I laugh , I cry, I’m in shock, I laugh and I’m sometimes horrified . Unapologetically raw and real stories from police telling you what’s really going on in so many of our own back yards. Often on the edge of my seat listening to gut wrenching first hand encounters they share. All the segments make for a great show!

It’s an interesting look into what police experience in the line of duty. A lot of their stories, I would never imagine as a civilian, never would or could happen. It’s also interesting into what local and National laws they have adhere to, and what makes them think/ react the way most police do. Very informative and original.
