Waking the Giant with Matt Rowe.

Peter and John meet Fort Burgoyne’s Artist in Residence Matt Rowe and talk to him about the upcoming ‘Waking the Giant’ event; a celebration of Making, Craft and Folklore. There will be local craftspeople, weavers, potters, blacksmith and knitters running demonstrations and workshops for all to enjoy. The free event will take place on Saturday 29 February 2020 at Fort Burgoyne, Guston Rd, Dover.

With Simon we meet the Museum's Director Mellany Robinson and hear why Folklore is finding favour with a younger audience. Simon also updates us on the restoration of his historic Dover house and why he chose to live there.
