🎤Why does WhatsApp Wati trump all other CRM software for this Product Marketing Manager at Galleri5?

This episode of Down & Dirty with Dr. T. features Juhi Arya, the Product Marketing Manager at Galleri5, an AI-powered influencer marketing solution. Juhi, a growth marketing expert, has 8 years of work experience in her field and is a BITS Pilani graduate. In this episode, she shares her daily routine, the tools she uses for work, and her experiences with WhatsApp Wati and why it is the top CRM software in her eyes.  Highlights from the episode: Importance of planning and coordination: One key takeaway from the conversation was Juhi's emphasis on planning and team coordination. She spends about 30-45 minutes every morning planning out her tasks and coordinating with her team to ensure smooth workflow. This planning phase is crucial for avoiding last-minute hiccups. She also highlighted the importance of transparency within the team, which helps in timely delivery and boosts overall confidence. All about WhatsApp Wati: WhatsApp Wati has proven to be an invaluable tool for Juhi's growth marketing tasks. Through a screenshare, she takes us through features like broadcast message templates, chatbot efficiency, and analytics such as response rates and engagement metrics. According to Juhi, this tool has streamlined many aspects of customer engagement by offering automated responses based on predefined workflows. While it excels in handling small to medium-sized queries effectively, it might struggle with high-volume inquiries. Challenges in Growth Marketing: Despite all the tools at her disposal, Juhi acknowledged several challenges she faces regularly. These include ad-hoc tasks that disrupt planned schedules and communication gaps that lead to inefficiencies. She emphasized the need for transparent communication to mitigate these issues effectively. Her experience underscores how vital it is to have both reliable tools and clear processes in place to navigate these challenges successfully. 🎤How does Atul Khola, Lead Product Designer at CRED, integrate AI in design and daily life?

We’re thrilled to introduce today’s guest on Down & Dirty with Dr. T.: Atul Khola. Atul started his journey at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Mumbai and went on to work at cool startups like Cure.fit and Topper. He is now rocking it at CRED as the Lead Product Designer. Atul tells us that he has optimized his work day to its full extent. The tools that helps him navigate the million things he has to do in a day? ChatGPT.  Highlights from the episode: A day in the life: Atul gives us a peek into his daily routine, which includes waking up early for contemporary dance classes, hitting the gym, and then diving into work at CRED. He shares how he maintains a balance between creating and mentoring - sometimes even playing cricket for fun during office hours! Work culture at CRED: One of the highlights of working at CRED for Atul is its unique team culture. He describes it as a close-knit group where everyone hugs instead of shaking hands every morning. This sense of warmth has created an environment where no one wants to leave. The design team spans across various disciplines such as motion graphics, illustration, VFX, and marketing. According to Atul, this combination of talent not only makes work enjoyable but also incredibly productive. Harnessing ChatGPT for Design Efficiency: Atul shares his insights on how he uses ChatGPT to streamline his work processes. For instance, he employs ChatGPT for drafting emails and generating UX copy efficiently. It helps him frame emails by simply speaking his thoughts rather than typing them out laboriously. Additionally, he demonstrates how ChatGPT can assist in product design by providing competitive analysis and user stories within minutes—tasks that would traditionally take days to complete. In this episode we explored her daily routine, her work process, the tools she uses, and how generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Bard (now Gemini) fit into her workflow. Highlights from the episode: ChatGPT and Gemini: Through a screenshare, Anshita shows how she uses both ChatGPT and Bard for research and writing and how they contribute differently to her workflow. Importance of her team: We also dug into the collaborative nature of her job, where peer reviews and teamwork are key. She was all praises about her team and got candid about how every member actively contributes to each other's growth. Their collaborative and thorough review process helps them produce high-quality content that meets the company's standards. ChatGPT v/s Gemini (formerly Bard): Both tools have their own place in Anshita’s workflow. She points out the differences between the two and the roles they play and while she uses them both, she prefers Gemini over ChatGPT in a lot of cases, especially when it comes to professional writing. 🎤How does the Samsung smartwatch help MTV Roadies’ Raghu Ram stay fit?

This episode of Down & Dirty with Dr. T. features a man who needs no introduction: Raghu Ram. While most people know him as the man behind MTV shows like Roadies and Splitsvilla, today we get to see a different side of him. In this episode, Raghu talks about his transition from direction to acting, the impact of his family on his lifestyle changes, and the role technology plays in maintaining his health. Highlights from the episode: Raghu’s work and home life: Since becoming a father to his now four-year-old son, Raghu’s life has taken a remarkable turn. He shares what a typical day in his life looks like. From waking his wife up with a cup of coffee to putting his son to bed, he is all about balancing professional commitments with family time. A paradigm shift for health: Raghu gets candid about how meeting Natalie, his wife, marked a paradigm shift in his life. From smoking 40 cigarettes a day to becoming a non-smoker overnight just to be with her – it is evident that love can indeed be a powerful motivator for positive change. Natalie’s influence extended beyond quitting smoking; she also encouraged him to redefine his relationship with alcohol and take better care of himself overall. Employing tech to stay fit: Technology plays an important role in Raghu's health journey. He relies on his Samsung Smartwatch and its accompanying Samsung Health app to keep track of various health metrics like resting heart rate, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, and more. Raghu believes these tools do not make one healthy but make one aware when they are neglecting their health. Awareness leads to action – whether it’s getting up to move more or realizing when it's time for some rest. 🎤How has Trello made project management a breeze for this young Business Analyst?

Welcome back to another episode of Down & Dirty with Dr. T. and this time, Taapsi is talking about all things project management with Mansi Sinha.  Mansi is a  Business Analyst at PinnacleWay Biz Solutions. She has been in the field for about three years and has a fresh perspective on the job market. Mansi’s day revolves around project management and client interactions. The tool that helps her keep everything in check is Trello. Highlights from the episode: Expectation v/s reality: Mansi shares how in college, she was taught programming languages like Python and SQL and was under the impression that these would dominate her job responsibilities. However, she quickly discovered that real-world tasks leaned more towards client interaction and project management rather than heavy technical work. Challenges in project management: One of the significant challenges Mansi faces is managing client expectations and assessing project feasibility. Often, clients have certain requirements that may not always be feasible. This necessitates a lot of research (R&D) and close coordination with the development team to determine what can or cannot be done. All things Trello: According to Mansi, Whether it’s for personal or professional use, Trello’s features make task management straightforward and engaging. Through a screenshare, she shows how creating workspaces and using templates can simplify even complex projects by breaking them down into manageable parts. 🎤Why does this Founder not use ChatGPT to create original content?

Welcome back to another episode of Down & Dirty with Dr. T. and this time Taapsi is in conversation with Zahara Kanchwalla. Zahara is the co-founder and CEO of Rite KnowledgeLabs, a content-first digital agency focused on thought leadership. Founded in 2015, the company works with large multinational clients to handle their content and communication needs by building corporate websites, running corporate social media, and more. As a founder, Zahara juggles numerous tasks every day and relies on a variety of tools to enhance her workflow. Among these, ChatGPT is the one she uses the most. Highlights from the episode: A day in the life: Zahara's days are busy, packed with customer calls, reviewing content deliverables, hiring new team members, and resolving urgent issues. She tells Taapsi how she tackles these issues and the tools she uses to make her life easier. ChatGPT for repetitive tasks: Zahara’s main use case for ChatGPT is not content creation but to handle repetitive tasks like drafting reminder emails, thus freeing up time to focus on creating thoughtful content.  Via screenshare, she shows an example email announcing an office policy change from 2 in-office days a week to 3. Not using ChatGPT to create content?: Zahara estimates that AI collaboration plays a significant role in enhancing and ideating, accounting for 30-40% of her work, but less than 10% for the actual writing. She compares a human-generated piece of content to the same piece created by AI and outlines why the human generated content is superior.
