Downfall

This is such an important life lesson for our kids. So many headline stories today involve people turning a blind eye to wrong doing. Success and fame can be blinding. Well done, wish it was a little meatier content with interviews but I imagine the players and parents aren’t enthusiastic about talking to the media.

We live really close to Hamilton High & have been shocked as our news apps blew up about the hazing scandal there. On a road trip last night we decided to give this a listen. For being made by a local news group, I thought it would have some semblance of production value but it was painfully lacking. Episode 1 is essentially a drawn out preview masked as an attempt to provide background. Even listening to it sped up didn't eliminate the tedium before it abruptly ended. Worse yet, it ended without saying anything about what allegedly happened! Combine that with the horrible sound mixing and the lack of substantial reporting, we're just going to save ourselves a bunch of time & just Google what the players are convicted of rather than slog through poor podcasting.
