Why You Are FATIGUED All the Time

If you're tired of feeling exhausted all the time, this is for you. In this video, I’ll share some tips to overcome burnout and chronic tiredness. Find out what causes chronic fatigue and address it at its root! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Common fatigue causes 0:12 Lack of sleep 1:47 Cellular hypothyroidism 2:43 Stress and fatigue 4:57 Histamine overload 5:38 Blood sugar fluctuations 6:07 Sleep disturbances 8:13 Increasing protein to combat chronic fatigue 1. Lack of sleep You could feel exhausted all the time simply because you lack sleep. Alcohol, overtraining, and eating too late can interfere with sleep. Chocolate consumption can increase theobromine, similar to caffeine, which can interfere with sleep if consumed too late. Try taking magnesium one hour before bed to help you relax. Vitamin B1 is also vital for quality sleep. Did you know that going outside in the morning to watch the sunrise can improve your sleep? Try it! 2. Cellular hypothyroidism Thyroid hormones go into every cell in your body, controlling metabolism and energy levels. If your thyroid is not working properly, you will likely experience fatigue. Increase selenium to improve thyroid function. Brazil nuts, sardines, shellfish, and grass-fed liver are excellent sources of selenium. 3. Stress A severe stress, such as the loss of a loved one, can cause your immune system to shut down because of the cortisol spike. This allows latent viruses like the Epstein-Barr virus to come out of remission and cause chronic fatigue syndrome. High doses of vitamin D can help. Try making your own L. reuteri yogurt, one of the best remedies for high cortisol. Increasing magnesium and sodium and taking long walks in the woods can also reduce cortisol levels. 4. Histamine overload An enzyme in your body naturally breaks down histamine. Alcohol, medications, and gut damage can inhibit this enzyme’s function, increasing histamine levels. Avoid aged cheeses, vinegar, canned fish, and fermented vegetables if you suspect a histamine sensitivity. 5. Blood sugar Consuming high amounts of carbohydrates or sugar during the day often leads to blood sugar fluctuations at night. Frequent night waking decreases energy during the day. Carb consumption depletes vitamin B1, which can cause restless legs syndrome, waking you up. 6. Sleep disturbances Sleep apnea and being too hot or too cold can interfere with your sleep. Frequent urination caused by too much snacking or too many carbs can also be the culprit. 7. Protein intake If you’re not consuming enough high-quality protein, it could be the reason you’re feeling exhausted all the time. Try adding more protein to each meal for a significant improvement in energy. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. What's Truly in Inexpensive Grocery Store Bacon

With so many different types of bacon at varying price points, choosing the best bacon can be difficult. Is expensive bacon worth it? In this video, we’ll compare cheap bacon vs. premium bacon—not just the flavor and price, but the true cost to your health. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Cheap vs. expensive bacon 0:27 Bacon quality difference 2:06 The bacon process 2:26 High-quality bacon 3:33 Dr. Berg’s bacon 4:51 Nitrates in bacon 5:46 Cooking pork The average commodity bacon at the grocery store is affordable, but is the more costly bacon worth it? Once a pig is weaned from its mother, it’s sent to a feedlot, weighing about 40 to 50 pounds. It will then live in a 7-square-foot area where it will be fattened to over 250 pounds in 3 to 4 months! Commercial pigs are fed GMO corn and soy. They’re also given drugs in the US, like ractopamine, to quickly increase muscle growth before slaughter. This drug is banned in 90 countries! Laws protect the privacy of these farms, so it’s difficult for the public to discover what truly occurs there. When bacon is processed, artificial smoke flavoring, salt, sugar, water, and MSG are typically added. This process is not generally used for high-quality bacon. Nitrates are chemicals that act as antibacterials and flavor enhancers. When exposed to high heat, however, they can turn into carcinogens. Singing Pastures is an excellent source of pasture-raised bacon. Pigs are rotated in small pastures to allow grass to regenerate. In Spain and Italy, pigs are often fed acorns. Pork is also cured to enhance flavor and quality. Pork is one of the best sources of vitamin B1. Pasture-raised pork contains vitamin D and trace minerals such as selenium and zinc. Lard is a healthy fat and, if it comes from a properly raised pig, is a great addition to cooking and baking. Overcooked bacon can create carcinogenic byproducts. Avoid this by cooking your bacon in the oven or air fryer. To counteract carcinogens, cook your bacon with olive oil, garlic, and onion. Avoid microwavable bacon! Today we're going to talk about a common problem that affects your ability to detoxify chemicals and other toxins. This problem involves the MTHFR gene, known as the detox gene. It's also involved in creating neurotransmitters and in hormonal regulation. If you have a mutation or alternation with the MTHFR gene, you could lose 25% to 80% of the gene's function. A loss of function of the MTHFR gene could lead to potential complications, including: • Free radical damage • Oxidation • Inflammation • Fibrosis • Cirrhosis • Insulin resistance • Fatty liver • Poor digestion • Poor sleep • Gallstones • High cholesterol • Backup of bile Many chemicals in the environment are considered endocrine disrupters and estrogen disrupters, which may lead to various health concerns. If you have a genetic mutation of the MTHFR gene, a typical detox won't help you very much. You have to have a very clean lifestyle. With this mutation, your liver could have a difficult time just getting rid of things like alcohol or caffeine. But there are things you can do to help this gene work correctly. First off, you should avoid synthetic, enriched, and fortified foods and supplements. The best things to support detoxification if you have a mutation of the MTHFR gene: 1. Methylfolate 2. Methylcobalamin 3. Choline 4. Natural B vitamin complex (nutritional yeast) 5. Magnesium (leafy greens) 6. Let’s talk about stress and cortisol. I’ve seen many people get on the right track with their diet and exercise—but they're still stuck in fight-or-flight mode. Being in fight-or-flight mode, having elevated cortisol and adrenaline for a long period, isn’t healthy. Chronic stress has been known to negatively affect the body in many ways, including: • Shrinking your grey matter • Shrinking your thymus gland • Creating muscle atrophy • Decreasing testosterone • Running the body on sugar (even when you’re not eating sugar) • Disrupting healthy digestion • Reducing quality sleep Chronic worry and stress can also lead to ulcers, inflammation, and disease. An interesting study measured 39 people’s cortisol levels before and after a 45-minute art therapy session. This study found a significant reduction of cortisol in participants. I have found that hobbies are a fantastic way to stop the fixation on stress and move your attention to something more positive. Today we’re going to talk about the first sign of kidney disease. The kidneys are filters that convert blood into urine and recycle your fluid, protein, nutrients, and hormones. Other functions of the kidneys include: • Coordinating the amount of fluid in the body • Converting vitamin D into the active form of vitamin D • Regulating blood pressure • Regulating the hydration of the body • Eliminating toxins from the body High blood sugar levels can lead to diabetic nephropathy, one of the most common causes of kidney failure and end-stage renal disease. The first sign of kidney disease is nocturia, a situation where you urinate often during the night. Other common signs of kidney disease are protein in the urine and edema. I have found that the best way to stop nocturia is to focus on improving the person’s diabetes first. A high-carb diet is ultimately behind diabetes. The best ways to support your kidneys: 1. Go on a keto diet 2. Do intermittent fasting (one and a half meals a day) 3. Consume plant phytonutrients 4. Take benfotiamine 5. Take alpha-lipoic acid 6. Consume turmeric Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The Documented Benefits of Extended Fasting: 7 Critical Things You Need to Know

Prolonged fasting has a lot of incredible benefits. Here's what you really need to know before giving it a try. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Understanding fasting vs. snacking 3:03 What great thinkers have said about fasting 3:52 Fasting vs. starving 5:30 Critical things you need to know about prolonged fasting 18:33 Learn how to make insulin more sensitive! Today, I’m going to share seven critical things you need to know about prolonged fasting. Fasting is very simple yet very powerful. Snacking is one of the worst things for your insulin and your overall health. Food is nourishing, but to heal your body, you might be better off not eating. Snacking causes hunger, weight gain, fatigue, and moodiness—among other potential health problems. Yet, simply not eating can create so many powerful health effects. Throughout history, many great thinkers, including Hippocrates and Plato, have even had positive things to say about fasting. Seven critical things you need to know about prolonged fasting (72 hours or longer): 1. Only drink water (2.5 liters), tea, and coffee—and take supplements (electrolytes, B vitamins, vitamin D, and vitamin C) 2. Take electrolytes (including sea salt) 3. Go very slow and gradual when refeeding, and avoid carbs, sugar, and a large meal 4. Don’t take apple cider vinegar 5. Do Healthy Keto when you break your fast 6. Understand the dawn phenomenon (your liver is making sugar due to insulin resistance) 7. Know when to break your fast (don’t stop when it’s uncomfortable—push through the transition phase) Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. This Could Rescue Your Life (1 in 4 People Have This Silent Killer Disease)

One in 4 people is infected with this silent killer disease that’s deadlier than the plague. You may even have this infection! Find out about this deadly microbial threat and how to stay healthy so you don’t become the next victim. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Infectious disease deadlier than the plague 1:30 Latent infections 2:59 Tuberculosis facts 4:39 Tuberculosis and vitamin D 7:38 Immune system function 8:20 Sun exposure and infrared rays Many people are infected with a disease that’s worse than the plague! The plague killed 200 million people, and in total, this bacterium has killed 1 billion! It’s the world’s deadliest infectious disease and kills more people than HIV and malaria combined. It kills around 1.3 million people each year, yet you don't hear much about it. Latent infections such as herpes, EBV, CMV, HPV, and Hepatitis B and C are able to go in and out of remission. Today, we’re going to talk about the pathogen that gives you tuberculosis. Tuberculosis (TB) doesn’t evade the immune system, it invades it. TB hides inside the macrophage, which is responsible for cleaning up bacteria and infections in the body. TB affects more people in the northern hemisphere away from the equator, and its incidence increases in the winter. Older people or those with type 2 diabetes, HIV, or low vitamin D are at an increased risk of an active TB infection. TB blocks the vitamin D receptor, which lowers your immune function. There was an uptick in TB outbreaks in the 80s when sun phobia was promoted. This campaign significantly reduced vitamin D levels by reducing sun exposure. Before the development of antibiotics, people with tuberculosis would go to sanatoriums for fresh air and sunlight exposure. Cod liver oil was also shown to be beneficial for people with tuberculosis infections. The immune system destroys TB with a compound called cathelicidin, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that depends on vitamin D. Not only is the sun vital for vitamin D production, but it also exposes you to infrared light. Infrared reverses mitochondrial damage and can increase vitamin D signaling, further protecting you from a TB infection.
