    "Live" from LA Beer Week Kickoff Event… it's the Biddies!

    Move over Hazy IPAs, Mexican Lager is *the* trending beer of the craft beer scene for Summer 2024. (Don't sleep on those Guava Sours, though…)   We are back. SO. BACK. For the first time since 2019, the Drinking Biddies attend the LA Independent Beer Fest, which kicks off LA's annual beer week. Zimas! Acquah dives into his journey to becoming a craft beertender and why you should ask your bartender more questions. No, really, ask questions. You just might find a drink you actually love!     74: Deschutes Jubelale Feat. Grant Lyon (And a farewell to Anchor Christmas Ale!)

Tune in for some Christmas tunes, Big Dad Energy, and some really big New Beers Resolutions (TM pending). Of course, we couldn't say farewell to 2023 without a proper tribute to Anchor Christmas Ale. After a monumental 127 years, Anchor Brewing closed in 2023. We shed some tears, share some beers, and promise to cherish every brew with you.
