Her numerously awarded and published research experiences involve aging, neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury conducted at Columbia U Irving Medical Center, Department of Psychology or the Bluck Institute for Research on Aging. 💡

She’s part of American Astronomical Society, Sigma Xi, Girls Rock in Science and Math. Her scientific interests are at the intersection between data science, computation, and astrophysics. 💻Furthermore, Christine’s training under an advanced Russian ballet curriculum, performing major roles in productions such as The Nutcracker and Don Quixote! 🩰

    We're welcoming Rachel Seevers on our newest episode, an accomplished oceanographic and engineering mechanic researcher! 🌊You probably have heard about Rachel since she designed a Bioinspired Submersible Dual Propulsion System, mirroring the movement of jellyfish. 💧With the project she won multiple awards at ISEF 2019: Shanghai STEM Cloud Center's Award in Systems Software, NASA's Honorable Mention, and the Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award! 💥
    We've also expanded on The Virtual Winglet design, receiving Third Award in Engineering Mechanics at ISEF 2018. She is not only a triple ISEF Alumna and 8th place winner of Regeneron 2019, but Rachel also attended the Research Science Institute hosted at MIT in 2018, and then served as a Counselor for the Center of Excellence in Education. 📚
    She also mentors for children of low-income families, hosts Science Fair Clinic, supervises donation programs. She is part of STEMFems, Experimentors, French Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, to name a few. 🎓She also received Girl Scouts of America Silver Award.
    She wears Crimson 😉 since Rachel is attending Harvard University Class of 2023, studying Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
