    4/27: Test-optional admissions, rising rent, Happy Minds Fest and lots more!

    Maddie and Lauren are sad that this is their last podcast of the year, but that doesn't stop the 4-1-1! This week, the buzz includes WVU announcing that they'll make test-optional admissions permanent, West Virginia University Apartments is raising its rent for the second year in a row, a new finger food restaurant downtown, a ceramic pottery sale, Happy Minds Fest and lots more!

    4/21: Reduction in work, Narcan vending machine, Pierogi Night and lots more!

    Maddie and Lauren are excited for Earth Day activities on campus, but first this week's buzz, including a new reduction in work policy for WVU employees, a Narcan vending machine, WVU baseball's win over Pitt and their stand with TCU, a bluegrass-inspired love story play, the passing of the Mountaineer rifle, the Blue and Gold game, and pierogi night at Up All Night and lots more!

    4/14: Safety task force, the deficit deepens, a baseball Backyard Brawl, and lots more

    The weather outside has been perfect, but Maddie and Lauren still came inside to record this week's DubV 411. This week, they talk about a new task force on campus to address campus carry and general safety, the university announced more deficit concerns, new grad coursework was added to the Women and Gender Studies certificate program, the upcoming baseball Backyard Brawl against Pitt, a WVU Mountaineer Short Film Festival, honoring rape and sexual assault victims, and lots more.

    4/7: Manchin visits WVU, a breakdown of the university deficit, a short film festival and much more

    Maddie is off this week, so Lauren is solo with this week's buzz, including Senator Manchin stopping by WVU for a roundtable on mental health, the University shared more specifics about what the deficit cuts will mean, Carruth is bringing back Mental Health 101, the West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival and much more!

    3/31: WVU is tightening its belt, blue lights are getting fixed, free dance lessons and lots more!

    Can Spring come soon enough? Maddie and Lauren are ready for warm weather and the end of this semester, but first they have to spill the tea on this week's buzz, including the university finally fixing the blue light emergency stations around campus, the aftermath of WVU's announcement of a growing deficit and how that will affect the university and students and West Virginia passed a law to protect student journalists. Plus, a look into what WVU baseball has been up to, an upcoming art show will give students a chance to show off their innovations, free dance lessons this weekend, a jazz music performance, coloring for mindfulness and lots more!

    3/24: State of the University address, ISO a new women's basketball coach, live bands and lots more

    Maddie and Lauren are back after spring break and are ready to share their take on all things WVU. This week, the buzz includes what Gee will say at the upcoming State of the University address, the search for a new women's basketball coach and details of a body that was identified in Mon County. Plus the WVU basketball season is over, baseball rolls on, and there's tons to do around town like the Spring Fling market, live bands, how to celebrate the opening of the Harley Davidson riding season, TED X WVU 2023 and lots more.

    3/3: Baked potatoes, campus carry, poetry and lots more

    Campus carry is now law, and Lauren and Maddie discuss the implications at WVU. They also discuss how WVU is expanding student resources to combat rising mental health issues on campus, a new baked potato restaurant is coming to Morgantown, WVU baseball begins, basketball is headed to a tournament, there's a ton of poetry and art to check out around town, and SGA is holding their election.
