The rusty metal wall is all i see. I turn to face Tom Hanks. I could tell that he is going to say something sarcastic in a foreign accent but I spit blood into his face. He punches me a third time. I know another few blows will end me. Before he pulls back his arm i grab it. I pull myself up with my last bit of energy and bite down on his jaw line as hard as i can. I feel my teeth breaking. In his shock i put more blood into his eyes and punch until there is nothing left in me. i fall to the ground. I knew it was me or him when the metal doors were closed with only a single light above us. The light flickers. i feel this was right. I leave this world thinking I couldnt let Tom Hanks be Luigi Mario, and now he never will be.

my review of this podcast and also of the cowbell sketch

so it’s the blue oyster cult and they’re playing with their new friend william farrel and he has a cowbell and they’re trying to play their top hit don’t fear the reaper which, if you recall, features a rhythmic cowbell through most of the song

they’re recording this hit track and will is just whaling on that cowbell, much ,it would seem, to the chagrin of the members of the blue oyster cult. they stop and their enthusiastic record producer christofer walking comes in with some helpful tips and tricks, but it seems like his only criticism is that he can’t hear that cowbell enough! he needs more of it, which seems to miff the other members of blue oyster cult.

they return to recording and will is just beating this cowbell like it owes him money and the blue oyster cult members are very sad and christopher walken says he wants more cowbell. they keep repeating this until it was time for a commercial about collect call service featuring carrot top.

also this podcast is very good. it wrings all possible entertainment value from a movie that seems pretty light on that!
