Damian shares practical advice, warning signs to watch for, and real-life examples to help you stay one step ahead. Damian talks about the common fraud that students find themselves victim of including money mules, sextortion, recruitment scams and market place scams. There are no guaranteed get-rich-quick schemes. 2. Don’t rush into new offers or deals. 3. Check their credentials before sending money or signing documents. 4. Never send money to unknown individuals or use payment methods you aren’t sure about. 5. Keep your banking and personal information safe, secure, and protected. 6. Access websites directly rather than through links in emails and texts. 7. Look for evidence of a company’s legitimacy, not just testimonials. 8. Get legal or independent advice for offers involving money, time or commitment. 9. If you spot a scam, or have been scammed, report it. Scammers are clever, so don’t feel embarrassed. 10.
