After everyone she's ever known was killed in an alien invasion, Lynn Gellert (Jenny Slate) might be the last person left on Earth. Her constant and only companion is the voice recorder she managed to salvage from her mother's house. As symptoms of a strange illness seem to set in, Lynn comes to terms with her mortality, only to realize that she's not sick, she's pregnant. Lynn is not a survivalist, or even good at camping, but somehow she has to find what it takes to confront a dangerous and uncertain future.
Earth Break is written by Morgan Ormond. Starring Jenny Slate. Directed by Aaron Katz. Produced by April Lamb. Earth Break is presented by Skylark Media

Beautiful Inception, Masterful Delivery...

I found this podcast to have been an amazing journey. Well thought out and flawlessly constructed, this piece was wonderfully engaging. It felt incredibly engaging. The character through her journey is speaking directly to you. You feel her fear, anxiety, anguish and angst. Your heartbeat quickens at times of danger and it melts in times of sorrow and sadness. You really fall in love with the character as she takes you through a very convincing emotional journey as the sole survivor in a post-apocalyptic world. She made me laugh when after having a dangerous encounter which results in an injury “well every day can’t be a great day”. The actresses’ performance was intense and flawless. My only regret is that while I still have two episodes left to enjoy, it seems as though the story may be too short. I could enjoy tens of hours of this character and these circumstances. Great job but “I need more cowbell”....
