We record from the nice restaurant River Jams! We talk about the excellent music scene, events, and culture in the Eau Claire area and why this is another great reason to live in EC. We interview Brad Stoughton local band member of the Groove Merchants and Eau Claire Allstars and Band Teacher.

We interviewed Olaf Lind at the Chippewa Valley Museum about the great historical exhibits and events they offer including walking and biking tours around town and music concerts on their front lawn! Jane and Jerry talk about the current state of real estate and share funny stories about going to the wrong house! The museum does a great job preserving the history of the Eau Claire area and are celebrating the 150th birthday of EC with a special exhibit. When you’re at Carson Park remember to also check out Paul Bunyan and the Wisconsin Logging museum, old school house, take a ride on the kids train, and enjoy an ice cream treat at the museum!

Jane and Jerry record while driving around town and share funny stories of when they were kids. We interview Roy Hoff Sr. creator of “Our Old Town Eau Claire” Facebook page and learn about how Roy started video recording while driving around downtown in the early 80s. We also talk about all the historical old pictures he has posted, the kid’s TV show he hosted, and the two books he has written!

We had a good scare and fun at The Ski Sprites Water Ski Team Haunted House fundraiser! We interviewed Jim C. Heinzen! Jerry and Jane reminisce about Halloween as kids and we learn more about the Ski Sprites!

Jane and Jerry talk reminisce about their days growing up going to church at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. They talk about St. Pat’s school being torn down and how different the current real estate market is. Scott interviews Andy Brown, Jed Stutzman, and Aaron Athas about their second Annual “Clearwater Clues Hunt.” They have provided a great opportunity to get outside and walk routes around town while learning history about Eau Claire.
