Entrepreneurship in a Climate Crisis

Today's bonus episode is not related to our first season's topic of Sustainable Travel but covers the important issue of our climate crisis and the role entrepreneurship plays in addressing it. Sophia Cheng, is the Founder of ‘With Many Roots’, an organisation that will help you find your place in the climate crisis movement. Since 2018, Sophia has re-orientated her life around the climate crisis and rising inequality. She has forged her decade of communications experience into offering workshops, mentoring, blogging, and more, on the biggest issues of our time. She speaks to us about her journey as a climate activist, an entrepreneur and an Eco-Mentor. The Green Stamp: Sustainable Wildlife Travel

As part of our First Series on Sustainable / Regenerative Travel, I speak to Carmen Castricum, Co-Founder of The Green Stamp, an online platform to help travelers book ecological wildlife tours and make sustainable choices in daily life. Starting a travel platform just before the pandemic is probably not the best timing, but Carmen tells us, how they adapted to the times to still be able to contribute to the wildlife conservation organisations they support. We touch upon Digital Nomadism and sustainable travel and how we as travelers can be more conscious of our impact and touch upon the importance of technology in conservation.
