I Hid My Story for Years… The Truth About Trauma, Infidelity & Healing with Amity Rose

What happens when you stop filtering your story… and start telling the truth? In this raw, unpolished, deeply human conversation on the Ecstatic Life Podcast, I sit down with betrayal recovery and relationship repair mentor Amity Rose to talk about the kind of honesty that cracks you open—and sets you free. The moments you’d rather hide? Those are often the ones that become medicine for someone else. Amity shares the divine nudge that led her to finally speak her truth publicly—her journey through alcoholism, nearly 18 years of sobriety, and navigating infidelity in her marriage. She opens up about transforming shame into power, rebuilding self-trust, and supporting women in reclaiming themselves—without telling them whether to stay or leave. And I go there too. I share why I stepped away from the old way I was doing content… the shame that silenced me… and the truth I’ve held for decades about being assaulted at 14. We talk about the ways we unconsciously play small—hiding behind pivots, distractions, and “upper limits”—and what it actually takes to rise into the work we feel called to do. This conversation is about courage. About visibility. About telling the damn truth, even when your voice shakes. We also dive into: – How sharing your story becomes service – Posting what your audience needs (not just what feels safe) – Navigating projections, triggers, and online hate – Building the capacity to hold growth instead of shrinking from it – Separating your identity from your past experiences – Rebuilding trust within yourself and your relationships And, in case you’re curious after listening to the episode: Yes! I’ve officially started writing my book—Ecstatic Life—and it’s coming by 2027.  Please subscribe and rate this podcast - I'm trying to grow! Small Doesn’t Mean Sexy: Rethinking Weight Loss, Food & True Health with Sarah Pettitt

What happens when you finally “get the body”… but lose yourself in the process? In this episode, I sit down with certified nutritionist and personal trainer Sarah Pettitt to talk about the messy, nonlinear path to true health. From navigating an unhealthy marriage, depression, and heavy drinking during COVID… to diving headfirst into extreme dieting and overtraining that led to burnout, injury, and gut issues—Sarah shares the raw truth behind her transformation. And here’s the twist: her real healing didn’t come from pushing harder. It came from softening. We talk about the pressure of diet culture, the lie that smaller always equals better, and why a body that looks “good” but feels like shit is not the goal. Sarah opens up about rebuilding her relationship with food through simple, nourishing meals—no tracking, no obsession—and creating a sustainable routine as a single mom. She breaks down her PFF method (protein, fiber, fat), the importance of actually eating enough, and how to move your body in a way that supports your life—not consumes it. This conversation is your permission slip to step off the hamster wheel… to release the all-or-nothing mindset… and to find a way of caring for your body that feels like freedom. Because “small” doesn’t mean sexy if it costs you your joy. If you’ve been stuck in cycles of restriction, burnout, or starting over—this one will land deep. The Ethics of Raising and Eating Animals: A Conversation with an Animal Communicator (Part 2)

In part two of this conversation, I continue my dialogue with nature psychic and animal communicator Kerryn Karimalis—following the thread we began in “The Ethics of Raising and Eating Animals” (Part 1). If part one opened the question, this episode deepens into the answers. Over the past several months, Kerryn has been listening—bringing forward messages from the animals around topics many of us are only just beginning to examine: consumption, disconnection, and our place within the natural world. A quick note before you dive in: This episode came through despite some pretty major technical challenges. You may notice moments where the audio gets choppy, or sections that were cut and pieced back together after being re-recorded. We even lost parts of the original conversation entirely. And still… the message felt too important not to share. So what you’re hearing is the most intact, heart-led version I could preserve. In this episode, we explore what animals have to say about humanity’s growing reliance on technology, our disconnection from nature, and the deeper question beneath it all: Not simply “Is it immoral?” But… “Is it necessary?” The perspective that comes through is nuanced, compassionate, and at times confronting. We talk about: The reality of factory farming and the lives many animals are living The idea that some of this collective experience may be awakening humanity The overwhelm that comes with trying to make ethical choices in a complex world Environmental harm, plastics, and the systems we’re all participating in Small, intentional shifts vs. all-or-nothing thinking Animal “soul contracts” and the roles different animals may play in human evolution And woven through it all is a message that feels both simple and profound: Come back to presence. Release shame. Remember your connection to the Earth. This conversation isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness… and what we choose to do with it. If you haven’t yet listened to Part 1, I recommend starting there to fully receive the foundation of this dialogue. 🎧 Listen to Part 1: The Ethics of Raising and Eating Animals: A Conversation with an Animal Communicator (Part 1)

The Ethics of Raising and Eating Animals: A Conversation with an Animal Communicator (Part 1)

This conversation did not come together easily… and honestly, that feels fitting. Between a literal grass fire, wild winds knocking out internet, lost notes, and life doing what life does—this episode asked to be created in its own messy, real, human way. But what emerged is something deeper than I even expected. In this two-part series, I sit down again with Kerryn Karimalis, a nature psychic and animal communicator, to explore a question that might shift the way you move through the world: What would animals say… if we were actually willing to listen? Over the course of several months, I asked Kerryn to bring questions to the animals she communicates with—questions about consumption, ownership, ethics, and our relationship with them. This episode is where we begin unpacking their answers. 🐾 Inside This Episode: What it means to communicate telepathically with animals The collective message Kerryn received from the animal kingdom Ethical questions around eating, owning, and using animals My personal shift in how I approach consuming meat The tension between intuition, culture, and conditioning around food “Voting with your dollar” and making aligned choices without perfectionism Kerryn’s journey into veganism—and the fear of speaking up for animals The idea of animals as “persons” inspired by Braiding Sweetgrass Small, tangible ways to reduce harm and live more consciously A Thread Running Through It All… This isn’t about shame. This isn’t about getting it “right.” It’s about awareness. It’s about slowing down long enough to ask: What feels true for me now? What am I participating in unconsciously? And what might shift if I actually listened? Because the message that came through—again and again—wasn’t rooted in blame. It was rooted in a return to: love, presence, instinct, and connection. Also… just so you know what kind of episode you’re stepping into: There was a lakeside grass fire (yep, really), some slightly chaotic energy, and a re-recorded intro that somehow made this conversation even more human. Because this is what it looks like to live an ecstatic life— not perfect, but fully alive. If This Episode Moves You… Share it. Subscribe. And leave a comment. I'd love to hear your opinions, too.

How I Healed My Trauma: Nervous System Regulation & Pleasure-Led Living

In this episode, I’m breaking down a belief that keeps so many women stuck in burnout: that our power comes from pushing harder, doing more, and keeping up with a fast-paced, hustle-driven world. I don’t believe that’s true—and more importantly, our bodies don’t either. I share how living in constant “go mode” keeps our nervous system stuck in survival, and why so many women feel anxious, exhausted, and disconnected… even when they’re doing everything “right.” We talk about how the female body is naturally cyclical (not linear), and why trying to operate like we’re the same every single day leads to burnout, resentment, and feeling completely out of alignment. I also introduce a different way of living—one that’s rooted in nervous system regulation, embodiment, and pleasure. And no, I’m not just talking about that kind of pleasure. I’m talking about everyday, accessible sensations that help your body feel safe again—things like slowing down, breathing deeper, moving your body, getting outside, or simply letting yourself enjoy a moment without rushing through it. Because here’s what I’ve learned in my own journey: When I started prioritizing how I feel instead of how much I produce, everything changed. Ready to go deeper? If this resonates with you and you’re ready to actually apply this work in your life, I’d love to support you inside my program: Pleasure-Led: The Feminine Rhythm Reset This is where I guide you step-by-step to: Regulate your nervous system Reconnect with your body Work with your natural rhythms instead of against them And build a life that feels calm, grounded, and genuinely good to live You don’t have to keep living in burnout and survival mode. Nervous System Alignment, Energy Work & Burnout Recovery with Jen Kohler

What happens when a healer stops forcing life… and starts aligning with their nervous system instead? In this deeply honest and expansive conversation, Nicole Goff sits down with master numerologist and energy practitioner Jen Kohler to explore burnout recovery, energetic alignment, and building a business that actually supports your life. Jen shares her 20+ year journey through the healing arts—from bodywork and birth work to Reiki, quantum energy, and her current work with Astro Egyptian numerology and the playing-card cardiology system. Her work now helps healers simplify their businesses and align their offerings with their deeper energetic blueprint. Together, Nicole and Jen talk about the very real experience of burnout that many caregivers, entrepreneurs, and mothers face—especially when we’re wired to give, hold space, and support others. Jen shares the daily energetic practices that help her stay grounded—including movement, energy clearing, deep sleep, and what she calls “taking it to the land” when emotions run high. How Honoring My Cycle Changed My Energy, Work, and Life

For years I thought something was wrong with me. One week I felt creative, energized, and unstoppable. The next week I was exhausted, emotional, and wondering why everything suddenly felt harder. So I tried to push through. More discipline. More productivity hacks. More forcing. Until I realized something life-changing: Women are not designed to operate like machines. We are cyclical beings. In this episode, I share how learning to track my menstrual cycle completely changed the way I approach my energy, my work, and my life. Instead of fighting my body, I started working with it—and everything began to flow. In this episode we talk about: ✨ Why women’s energy naturally fluctuates throughout the month ✨ The 5 things I stopped doing when I began tracking my cycle ✨ Why resting during your bleed week is powerful, not lazy ✨ How cycle syncing can transform your productivity and creativity ✨ Reconnecting with your body, intuition, and the natural rhythms of life If you’ve ever wondered why your motivation rises and falls—or why hustle culture feels exhausting—this conversation may change the way you see yourself. I’m also hosting a free workshop where I’ll teach you how to start tracking your cycle and syncing your work, creativity, and life with your natural hormonal rhythms. ✨ Register for the free workshop here: https://www.nicolegoffspeaks.com/cycle-syncing-for-productivity-page And if this topic resonates with you, stay tuned—because the deeper conversation is learning how to build a pleasure-led life and business that honors your feminine energy instead of overriding it.
