Pairing tools like MOSS are helpful, but perhaps doesn't catch every instance of cheating. This podcast discusses how tools like MOSS are beneficial to instructors due to how they work, why students feel compelled to cheat, and the grey area of what constitutes actually cheating. In an effort to scale, these instructors are building homegrown solutions to automate some of their grading. Autograders, both homegrown and for purchase, have fallen short of expectations.
