Eight episodes in, and Caitlin's story just keeps getting better. When I first introduced you to her, she had filed for bankruptcy. Today, she says she's living the entrepreneur's dream. (I love that so much.) This week's episode is all about money. Specifically, two beliefs that were keeping Caitlin from holding onto it. Before I get into those, I'm sharing something I call the Daily Financial Miracle. No tapping required. Just a simple daily practice to call in money. (It’s like a fun game!) Then Caitlin and I go deep. The first block we uncovered isn't one I’ve heard before. She was afraid that if she held onto money, she'd become like her mother, who hoarded it out of fear, always bracing for disaster and limiting what was possible. That fear had roots. When Caitlin was twelve, her mother would restrict how much money she had access to. It kept her from doing the things she wanted to do. And her subconscious filed away that saving money means shrinking your life. So every time Caitlin started to build up any reserves, something in her pushed the money away. Not because she was bad with money. Because some part of her was trying to protect her. Then we found a second fear underneath the first: that if money came in easily without her having to work for it, she'd lose her drive. That her life would go flat. That she'd stop growing. We tapped on all of it. And what Caitlin discovered is that she doesn't actually need money drama to live a full, adventurous life. She just thought she did.
