Day 5 — Returning to Yourself

We made it to the final day. Today is about remembering who the f**k you are. Not who you were before motherhood. Not trying to “go back” to some old version of yourself. But learning how to reconnect with all the pieces of you now: The woman. The mother. The human being underneath all the responsibilities. In this final episode, we talk about: - Identity shifts inside motherhood - Why you are not meant to be the exact same person you were before kids - Integrating your motherhood identity instead of resisting it - The cycles of expansion, change, and rediscovery many women experience - The emotional weight and beauty of motherhood - Honoring everything you carry and everything you’ve become - Releasing the belief that motherhood erased you - Celebrating yourself instead of waiting for others to fully understand or validate what you do This episode is a reminder that: You are not lost. You are evolving. Motherhood did not erase you. It expanded you. We also reflect on: - The deep love and awe of creating life - The beauty of watching your children grow - The invisible emotional labor mothers carry every day - The unrealistic expectation that non-mothers will fully understand the experience of motherhood - Why you deserve to celebrate yourself even when no one else fully sees everything you do A huge theme of this episode is: Returning to yourself through honoring yourself. Not by abandoning motherhood. But by allowing yourself to exist fully within it. You are allowed to: - Be a whole person inside motherhood - Have desires, needs, interests, and dreams - Change over time - Outgrow old identities - Rest - Celebrate yourself - Stop judging yourself so harshly - Feel proud of what you’ve created and who you’ve become Journal Reflection Prompt: Write a letter to yourself. You can write to: - Your current self - Your past self - Your future self Starter prompts: - “I see you…” - “I’m sorry for…” - “Thank you for…” - “I want you to remember…” - “You’re allowed to…” - “I’m proud of you because…” Final Reminder: You are not messing this up. You never were. Your kids do not need a perfect mother. They need you. And you were meant to be theirs. Day 4 — Boundaries + Enoughness Ease Edit: Motherhood Edition

Today’s conversation is for the moms who are carrying too much. Not just tasks and schedules…But emotional responsibility. Expectations. Pressure. The feeling that you have to hold everything together for everyone all the time. In this episode, we talk about: * Overcarrying and emotional overload * Why overwhelm often comes from carrying things that aren’t actually yours * Boundaries with kids, time, energy, and expectations * The guilt many moms feel when they stop pouring from an empty cup * Letting your children experience disappointment without making yourself responsible for fixing every feeling * Tiny “energy leaks” that slowly deplete you * The core wound of “not enoughness” many women carry * Why your worth is not tied to productivity or perfection * Allowing yourself to be a whole person inside of motherhood We also dive into the idea that:Your kids do not need a perfect mom.They need safety. Presence. Love. Repair. Connection. And your presence does not mean being endlessly available every second of the day. You are allowed to: * Need rest * Need space * Say “not right now” * Protect your energy * Stop overextending yourself * Let others hold their own responsibilities * Be more than just what you do for everyone else Reflection Questions: * Where am I not holding boundaries because I don’t feel like I’m enough? * What am I carrying that isn’t actually mine? * What do I need more of right now? * What do I need less of? * What is one small boundary I can practice this week? Reminder:Enoughness is not something you earn through doing more.It is a state of being. You are already enough.And you deserve support, rest, peace, and space too. Love you. Day 3 Get Out of the Spiral (regulate, release, forgive)

Motherhood can feel like constant input. Noise. Needs. Touch. Questions. Responsibility. Mental load. Overstimulation. And eventually… your nervous system says: “I literally cannot take one more thing.” In today’s episode of the Ease Edit: Motherhood Edition, we’re talking about what happens when moms hit that overload point — the snapping, the shutting down, the guilt, the spiraling — and how to actually support yourself through it instead of just shaming yourself for it.
