Meet Urmi Hossain — a self-published author, speaker, podcast host, and finance professional whose story is rooted in identity, ambition, and the courage to define success on her own terms. Based in Canada, Urmi has built an accomplished career in financial services, earning both her CFA and CAIA designations while becoming a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, self-leadership, and personal growth. In her book, Discovering Your Identity: A Rebirth from Interracial Struggle, Urmi shares her experience as a third-culture woman navigating questions of belonging, culture, identity, and self-worth. She continues those conversations as the host of Stories Beyond Borders, where she amplifies diverse perspectives on migration, language, identity, and what it truly means to call somewhere home.
