Could be a major wrestling podcast!
Good stuff! Hosts are clearly knowledgeable and have good chemistry and are excited about AEW. It’s fun to hear recaps of the weekly shows and it’s great to go in-depth. Feels like chatting with the AEW buddies that I wish I had. Really really solid, a must for any AEW fan who likes listening to podcasts.
I have a couple of notes though, please don’t take them too personally. It’s in the interest of this thing growing.
1. Show needs some editing down. They go on for a very long time. It’s good to have meaty conversations but the show always approaches the two hour mark and if you listen to multiple podcasts in a week, podcasts that eat up 2 whole hours start feeling more like a commitment than leisure. Obviously no one’s forcing anyone to listen but I think the show would work better and probably attract more listeners at an hour and a half or shorter. Getting it to be a little snappier would be a plus!
2. Guys: raise some funds for good mics! I know you have listeners and I’m sure many of us would be happy to kick a few bucks your way to improve the show. If you have like 100ish listeners, everyone donating $5 would pay for solid mics. It sounds like you’re recording directly from the computer’s mics, which just sounds tinny and compressed. Obviously every podcast has to start somewhere, but I think this podcast deserves better audio!
I say this with love! This pod is a GREAT resource for any AEW fan and we’re lucky to have it.
