Embodied Integrative Healing Podcast Episode 8 -Opening to Love Through Inquiry | The Work, Self-Inquiry & Healing

In this episode of Embodied Integrative Healing, Jordan explores what it means to open to love—even in the midst of pain, fear, resistance, or a tender heart. The episode begins with a meditation on allowing ourselves to remain present and open when life feels challenging, creating space for a deeper sense of love, awareness, presence, and healing to arise. Jordan explores how painful sensations and difficult emotions don't necessarily need to be eliminated; instead, they can become doorways into greater openness and connection. The exploration then turns to self-inquiry and Byron Katie's The Work, exploring how stressful thoughts and beliefs can act like shutters that block us from experiencing love. Jordan walks through the four questions of The Work and the turnarounds, using the thought “No one really cares about me” as an example. Through inquiry, we can investigate our beliefs, become aware of how they shape our experience, and discover what life is like without them. The episode explores self-inquiry, somatic awareness, meditation, emotional healing, presence, limiting beliefs, vulnerability, self-love, and the relationship between awareness and thought. At its heart, this episode is an invitation to become curious about the thoughts that create suffering, stay present with what is here, and remain open to the possibility that love is already closer than we think. Embodied Integrative Healing Podcast Episode 7 -The Body as a Doorway to Healing | Somatic Awareness, Chronic Illness & Self-Inquiry

In this episode of Embodied Integrative Healing, I speak with Andrea, founder of Hensley Haven, about the body as a doorway to deeper physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual healing. Andrea shares from her personal experience with chronic illness and nervous system challenges, exploring how symptoms can become an invitation to listen more deeply to the body rather than fear or reject it. We discuss somatic healing, body awareness, self-inquiry, challenging limiting stories, slowing down, and learning to trust the body's wisdom. The conversation also explores finding peace and presence within physical discomfort, integrating the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects of ourselves, and cultivating curiosity, love, surrender, and connection as part of the healing journey. A conversation about somatic healing, embodiment, chronic illness, self-awareness, nervous system regulation, spirituality, self-inquiry, and finding greater peace within the body. Andrea Hensley is the founder of Hensley Haven, a space devoted to helping women reconnect with themselves through nature, movement, and holistic healing. With a background in health and nutrition coaching, personal training, yoga, intuitive healing, and Reiki, she weaves together science, spirituality, and lived experience to create grounded, heart-centered experiences. Her intention is simple: to hold safe, nurturing spaces where women can slow down, remember who they are, and return home to themselves. Embodied Integrative Healing Podcast Episode 3 - Exploring Somatic Awareness

Join me in this episode as I explore how through somatic awareness, we learn to bring the healing presence of awareness into the feelings, sensations and emotions in our body.  Together we'll look at the practice of somatic awareness, which is part of embodiment.  In order for healing to really happen, it needs to be experiential. Here we are focusing really specifically in our bodies, because it can be easy for things to get intellectual and just stay mental in our heads as theories and ideas. There needs to be an experience in our bodies in order for us to actually change and feel better, heal and have relief, and have more peace and less anxiety and less pain. Somatic awareness is like a powerful alchemy that brings about this result. Let me know your thoughts! Support the show Your support helps keep the podcast going! Embodied Integrative Healing Podcast - Episode 1 Exploring Awareness

What is awareness? We often hear about becoming more aware or more present, but what does that actually mean? And why is awareness important on the healing journey? In this episode I explore what awareness is, how to access it, and what qualities awareness has, including the innate and immense capacity for healing. I also explore the relationship between awareness and life energy (prana, qi, ki, etc.) and how by accessing one we can tap into the other.  This episode also includes a guided meditation.   Let me know your thoughts!
