A great topic and an even better listen!
Disclaimer: I was a guest on Ep. 7 of this show.
I want to first thank the Emerging team. My experience as a guest on this show was superb, but it didn’t prepare me for how good the listening experience would be. My first reaction was that this was as good an example of audio storytelling as any episode or This American Life or RadioLab that I have heard. The quality of the production is very much on par with those top-level shows.
I’m also very impressed with the willingness of Jeffrey, Lexi, and Chris to share their experiences and insights on their journey to entrepreneurship. It’s as courageous as it is revealing, and kudos to them for being willing to put themselves under that microscope.
What is really refreshing about this podcast is that it delves into a process that most of us only hear about after the fact. There are so many examples of entrepreneurs sharing their “journey” after the fact. Here, we get to experience the journey being documented. I’m hoping that this becomes the trend rather than the exception to the rule.
All my best to the team, I’ll be following along, and happy to play a part again in the future.
Honest inspirations
The team is honest in their approach to starting a firm from scratch, sharing failures as well as the small successes, all the while forging stronger awareness of the value they collectively can bring to clients. It’s a very sincere raw story, and can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
