Wow, a well articulated, easy to follow discourse of how to think about the money we receive as hard working physicians delivering quality care to all. I received 2 takeaways. 1. Always feel empowered to ask for the fee for quality delivered service. 2 Invest, invest, invest. Investment is the name of the game. As a young physician I invested in instruments that ensured my ability to provide 1st class education for my children. Giving excellent quality care to my patients was also an investment. The seed model is the key to success. Because of these wise investments, there was always availability for self-care. Now at age 70, my investment is in the youth. You words are eloquent and they resonate in the spirit. I will pass them on.

Dr. Dorsett is truly able to get her guests to bring real life pearls for upcoming physicians - whether how to combat burn out, get more confident in the medical field or how to handle work/life balance.
