Together we are looking at the most famous prayer of all that Jesus taught His disciples, The Lord’s Prayer. Last Sunday Mark looked at the beginning of this powerful prayer and today he will be bringing a message called ‘Under Control’ as he looks at the phrase ‘Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’ We hope that you enjoy worshipping and celebrating with us today.

The first Easter Sunday changed the world and we cannot wait to celebrate Easter with you today! 2,000 years ago Jesus walked the earth, so He knew what it was like to be us. He also knew what it would cost Him to save us … and yet He chose to do it anyway. Today, we celebrate His power over death with His resurrection and remember that because He lives, so can we! Thank you for choosing to be a part of our weekend celebration on what is one of the high points in the life of the church. If you are joining us for the first time, an especially big welcome to you. For the past six weeks, we have found ourselves in the Season of Lent where we have been in our series ‘First Things.’ Today marks the beginning of Holy Week as we celebrate Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem and we look at the importance of Easter for all of us. Mark will be speaking this weekend with a message that looks at the first Palm Sunday Every year we remember both the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ and how the first Easter changed the world. We can’t wait to celebrate these momentous events with you over the next seven days. This means that next weekend we begin Holy Week, with Palm Sunday, as we make our way towards Easter Sunday on 31st March. This of course is one of the great festivals in the wider church calendar and we do hope that you can join us.
