Protect Your Peace and Spiritual Journey

Protect Your Peace and Spiritual Journey

This might be the most transparent, real, raw episode yet!

Tamara and Hanna are normally very open about their thoughts on religion, spirituality and their openness in accepting others' beliefs and views on religion/spirituality as long as what they believe doesn't hurt or discriminate against others. In their openness, they have been approached by individuals that want the girls to adopt their 'truth'.

While they know and hope these messages come from a good place, do the messengers know how their words affect someone that is deep into their own spiritual journey? Moreover, what it does to someone that has found peace in her spirituality while coping with a terminal illness. A very real question the girls ask is, "If I don't accept your truth, are you saying I am going to hell?"

In previous episodes, although open to all healthy and positive beliefs the girls might have been vague about their own personal belief systems, in this episode, you will get their entire heart.

Whatever you believe, protect your peace and protect your spiritual journey.

Natural Living and Gentle Parenting w/ Special Guest: Nanci Kennedy

Natural Living and Gentle Parenting w/ Special Guest: Nanci Kennedy

In Tamara and Hanna's quest to explore different lifestyles they have brought on a special guest, Nanci Kennedy.

The girls 'found' Nanci through Instagram.  Nanci connected with them after listening to a podcast they had with Annie Knoll. She is a listener-turned guest!

Nanci describes her lifestyle as - cultivating peace, grace and intention through mindful parenting, eclectic homeschooling and regenerative farming.

They learn what natural living means to Nanci's family, especially when it comes to food and products. One of the many benefits of natural living is how it spills into her parenting. They have a very honest conversation about gentle/conscious/mindful parenting verse the parenting styles we are more accustomed to.

Nanci was a lovely guest and we hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did!

My escape!

Hey girls... first off, i would like to say, I love your podcasts. They have totally changed my perspective on many things I face in my life. Hannah, I was a freshman when you were a senior, I’m not sure you remember, but that’s okay. I just want you guys to know that you two are making a difference, and it’s definitely for the better. Every episode I take something from it and use it everyday. One of my favorite episodes was when you guys talked about the town of Norton and how we all we evolved and changed. Just keep going as long as you can! Tamera, I think of you often. I’m a nurse at Hays Med and work in the Cancer Center sometimes.... you are so strong. I’m also pursuing my ARNP and your episodes help me escape. Congrats on the baby girl Hannah, kids are the best gift. Have a great day!

Thought provoking skills for your life

There is a lot of realness, truth, and exploration in the different ways to approach life and the curveballs it can throw at you. I originally started this podcast for a personal reason, but I have enjoyed opening my mind and attitude and delving into my own energy, if you will, for many things I go through in my own life!
