A show about the things we love. In each episode we learn about somebody through what they’re passionate about, from fish sauce to astrology to airplanes to duct tape. In just 5–10 minutes, we learn where their enthusiasm comes from, what’s special about their interest, and how we can all come to love it, too. New episodes every Wednesday.

Customer Reviews
Short and sweet
I love it! I love every episode. Short discussions about the things people are passionate about with no filler, no b.s., no drama (unless someone is enthusiastic about drama). It’s perfect!
His voice is as pleasant as ever
Why do we like the things we like? What brings us joy and why? How do we celebrate the celebration itself? Expertly produced, crisply edited, and perfectly mixed. Great listening, but also a nice little meditation on joy that energizes and refreshes.

This is one of my new daily podcasts. Raised on strictly educational channels I have a love for learning that’s hard to convey. During the most despairing times of my life I’ve thought about how vast life is on our planet and how many things there are to learn. It baffles me that every one of us could specialize in something small and intricate and there would still be millions of things to study. This podcast encompasses that feeling by letting people who are passionate about a certain thing share it in a short, beautifully edited show. Promising to cover are sorts of things “from fish sauce to astrology to airplanes to duct tape” the show has a bright endless future. So far there are 8 episodes with the latest one airing November 10th, 2020. On average they’re about 5 minutes long and new episodes come out weekly on Wednesdays. Owltail has the top episodes as Shane Kelly: DnD and Raygan Kelly: Retro Games but when a show is new it as a tendency to show their recent episodes as the top. My favorite are Sam Gross: Airplanes and Kate Wagner: Concert Halls because they are insightful but also because who would have thought someone could love such mundane things so intensely? Script is beautifully done, and one of my favorite setups I’ve heard in awhile. Basically the show is an interview with all the questions edited out or at least that’s what I think it might be. It makes for a really sincere summary of why the guests love what they do as well as some discipline specific details about their passions I would have never known without the podcast. Voice and music are at a balanced volume and do not overwhelm each other. I can’t recommend this show enough. It is one of three contenders for my podcast of the year!
