    Ep 3- What I Learned From Meditating for a Month in a Buddhist Monastery

    Is it possible to have different types of consciousness these days without any drugs?! YES IT IS! Be warned! I felt super chill at the beginning of this one so my voice is all chill! But the birds were singing! I felt captivated by the breakthrough of "Open Focus" It's the state of mind our ancestors inhabited most of the time. We have forgotten this skill and now, most of the time we are locked in a narrow focus, blocking out everything else in the world most of the time. Stressing ourselves out. Disconnected from our own bodies. Our entire attention goes to whatever we are feeling, or what pops up on our phone and we become that emotion. I'm trying to dig to find these skills we have forgotten to help me process this human experience so wanted to share what secrets I've found.
