    S6.Bonus Episode: Seeing That Frees

Season 6 Bonus Episode Seeing That Frees: Shifting our perception from a world of objects to a web of relationship In this podcast, Katie Churchman speaks with CRR Global faculty member Janet Frood and Systems worker Tom Mansfield about the Cards for Life project and its applications in coaching and organizational development. The project was designed to bridge personal development and environmental awareness, serving as "permission slips" or "portals" to shift perspectives, access emotions, and facilitate deeper conversations in team and organizational settings. Throughout this conversation, they explore ways to synthesise different concepts and experiences, leverage the wisdom of nature within systems coaching, and embody metaskills. This fascinating conversation invites us to connect our inner personal work with outer systemic concerns, offering coaches practical ways to shift emotional fields in their work.  https://paleblueperspective.com/cards-for-life  Janet Frood is an executive, leadership, and team coach and founder of Horizon Leadership Institute, based in Canada. She is a caring and provocative ally for leaders and organizations as they boldly transform. She is also a sought-after workshop facilitator on topics including change resilience, team trust, and courageous leadership. She is skilled in developing the relationship architecture of teams and fostering conditions for a healthy organizational culture. Janet recognizes the grounding and regenerative power of the natural world and weaves nature-based experiences and labyrinth facilitation work into team coaching and retreat offerings. These practices invite clients to engage in deeper reflection, somatic awareness, and holistic integration.  Tom Mansfield has developed the tool Cards for Life, which supports individuals and teams to bring living systems thinking into cultures and organizations. The cards work as a guidance system and a shared language to define regeneration in particular situations, sectors, and contexts. He's the founder of Pale Blue, where he offers coaching and consulting in service to planetary health and creates frameworks for regenerative practice in business and organizational design. For over 20 years, CRR Global has accompanied leaders, teams, and practitioners on their journey to build stronger relationships by focusing on the relationship itself, not only the individuals occupying it. This leads to a community of changemakers around the world. Supported by a global network of Faculty and Partners, we connect, inspire, and equip change agents to shift systems, one relationship at a time. We believe Relationship Matters, from humanity to nature, to the larger whole.
