Mishaps, Magic, & Mayhem: “I’ve tried it so you can benefit.”

Where do we begin? We want women to Show up, Show off, and share their story and the truth (the whole truth) about how they got to where they are, what happened along the way, and what they learned on the journey that just might give some insight to another women seeking the same. Our aim is to provide a space to be heard, using our collective voices to make impact in the world. Grab a friend and get ready cause’ these waves of women are diving in deep, sometimes headfirst, and making Big Waves along the way.

    MEET LEEANN Lee Ann Vermeulen Roberts is a songwriter, musician, coach and consultant. Helping creatives liberate and redefine themselves since starting her coaching practice in the early 90's, she has worked with hundreds of kids, youth and adults on stage, in the studio and in life. Making music with her producer husband at Robbo Studio is the most fun ever.     MEET MICHELLE Hello, my name is Michelle Juliet Feldman and I love creating with a variety of techniques and mediums. I am an artist, cartographer, illustrator and printmaker. I really do have a hard time sticking with one style! I create authentically from my heart and soul, and am continually inspired by the world around and within us, which is ever changing. While studying for my B.A. in Design from UCLA, I fell in love with paper and composition. I opened two stationery stores filled with my original watercolors, custom maps and illustrations. I have continued my education as a student at the Central Coast Art League, studying Classic Realism under the direction of Mary Kay West. My love of travel and paper created a fascination for maps and travel illustrations. As a cartographer, I create personal connections to time and place through custom maps.     Ep 113 | I AM A STORYTELLER with Chelsea Christer

    MEET CHELSEA Chelsea’s first feature-length film, the multi-award winning music documentary Bleeding Audio screened at over 17 festivals worldwide including Slamdance, Dances With Films, and Cinequest. Bleeding Audio secured distribution and released in May 2022 to critical acclaim. Chelsea has also directed three scripted short films. We’re Just Like You (2010), Sierra (2012), and the upcoming Holding on Forever (2023) is currently in post production. Her short films have screened at multiple festivals domestic to the US and internationally. Originally from a horse ranch in Colorado, Chelsea moved to San Francisco for film school in 2007. After graduating with a BFA in Directing from the Academy of Art, she worked as a producer/director and editor for corporate and commercial production agencies in the Bay Area. Chelsea has traveled the world, producing and directing brand documentaries and commercials for companies like Google, Adobe, and Dolby. These productions have taken her all across the US and abroad to Japan, Europe, Australia, and rural India.  Serving as both a programmer and juror at a variety of film festivals including Slamdance, Dances With Films, San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, & Cinequest, Chelsea has a strong passion for the community of independent cinema and supporting fellow up and coming filmmakers.     Ep 112 | TAME THE INNER CRITIC with Leslie Fiorenzo

    MEET LESLIE Early in my career I belonged to a businesswomen’s group, and they held a speaking contest. First prize was $100. I entered, I prepared and was disappointed when I didn’t win first prize, I didn’t even place in the top 5!  A mentor of mine who was in the audience, gave me the following feedback: “You had a death grip on the podium, did you think it was going to run away?  You stumbled over your words and the two stories you told didn’t connect to the topic.” I was devastated.  It was all I could do to not cry on the way home in a car full of other women. But I was determined to conquer my fears, create stories that make an impact and craft a presentation that would wow the audience. Fast forward 10 years and my then employer sent me to present our safety program at an industry conference.  This time the prize was based on the impact of the program not the presentation, yet when people approached me afterward and gave me compliments on my delivery and the stories I shared; I knew I’d moved well beyond that timid young woman losing a speech contest years before.     MEET AMIRA As a lifelong Lupus Warrior and autoimmune disease coach, I support people on their journey to living a life they love without limits.  I’m a digital nomad that aims to live everyday to the fullest while having tons of fun along the way….but I wasn’t always like this. I’ve been sick my whole life and after a two flare up that almost took my life, I learned how to manage my disease and pulled myself out of that flare up with holistic methods and transformed myself into an athlete. Since then, I became a certified autoimmune disease coach so I can help people heal, feel their best, find their joy, and do whatever it is that makes them happy.     MEET XENIA Hi, I’m Xenia! I went from high-achieving, thriving at my job, and living my best life to feeling like a complete failure in a matter of months. I was constantly tired and in pain, unable to think straight, work, or simply lead a normal life. I couldn’t keep up with my life anymore and felt like my bright vision for the future had popped like a bubble.
