    MEET DEB “Crossing borders has been a recurring theme of my life.”  Deb describes herself as a life-long border-crosser when it comes to culture, language, religion, ethnicity, and worldview. From the physical borders of US/Mexico or Palestine/Israel, to the spiritual “borders” of different religious traditions, to the lines we create in the sand with our personal biases, ingrained racism, or personal traumatic experiences, Deb has a long history of bridging the gap between people and creating connections based in compassion and peace. She’s endlessly fascinated by the process of transformation that allows life to renew itself. In private practice, Deb offers soul work and continues to explore the field of collective trauma healing. Having been part of a multi-faith delegation to Palestine – Israel in the fall of 2024, she is increasingly drawn to the work of peace, relationship, repair, and reconciliation. Deb Hansen is a first-time author. Borderlands: Stories from an El Paso Shelter is a memoir of her first three winters volunteering at the U.S./Mexico border. She recently completed her fifth winter offering hospitality and practical support to people seeking refuge from violence, poverty, and political and climate instability.     MEET MR. JAY Have you ever felt lost, confused, unlovable, out-of-touch, angry, or on the verge of losing it all or yourself? Changing all this is as simple as picking up your phone. It is said that the definition of insanity is doing something repeatedly the same way but expecting a different outcome. Is there an area in life you are unhappy with? Are there things in your life that you know you want and need to change but not sure where to start? Are you struggling in your relationship(s), your marriage, or single life? Lord knows I’ve been there. All my life I saw all my friends thrive while I struggled every day just to survive. I was the product of divorce, raised in poverty (on some pretty rough streets) and thrown into special-ed for a minor speech impediment. At fourteen I moved out on my own and after years of therapy, tapping into my faith, self-examination, endless podcasts, books, hard work and determination found the true me and gained a whole new perspective on life. I can help you do the same without all the pain. I decided to become a Relationship Coach because after learning how to love myself, be my biggest advocate and celebrate the ALL of who I am, I realized I was my first client. After all the relationship you have with yourself sets the tone for every relationship around you. I am one stubborn stallion so if I can be a success with myself, I can surely help you on your journey to success. I will help you learn how to love yourself, to be your chief advocate in life, be your biggest cheerleader, and forgive yourself of shame, blame, regret, and all that is toxic and holding you back.     MEET JESSECA Jesseca Banchy, the founder of Magnetic Soul Healing, activated her healing powers unexpectedly in 2022 after having a spiritual awakening. In 2021, she embarked on a holistic and spiritual journey shortly after beginning aerial dance and flexibility training. She dedicated her life to her physical, mental and spiritual health with a passion that led her to a spiritual awakening. Jesseca holds a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Legal and Medical Translation/Interpretation with a minor in Music, a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing, she is a certified Pole Dance teacher and is currently obtaining a PhD in Metaphysical Sciences. Her native languages are English and Spanish. She speaks, writes and reads in both languages fluently. While in her undergraduate studies, she learned to speak basic level Portuguese and knows basic level American Sign Language. In 2023, she retired from her career as a Registered Nurse. She worked in this career for 6 years throughout the U.S. specializing in ER, Trauma & Medical ICU, Wound Care, Medical-Surgical and Cardiac units. She retired from bedside nursing to explore the natural, holistic, energetic and faith based pathways to healing. Also, to pursue a career in dance and expand as an entrepreneur. Jesseca has a natural gift in healing and is expanding on this gift to guide others to heal and find inner peace that is naturally within all of us.     MEET SHANNON Shannon Watson is the Founder and Executive Director of Majority in the Middle. Shannon has also worked in policy and public affairs roles for Casper Corcoran, Medical Alley Association, St. Paul Area Chamber, U.S. Bank, the Minnesota Senate, and the National Conference of State Legislatures. She has 20+ years of experience in electoral politics, advising candidates and working on campaigns on both sides of the aisle in Kansas, Colorado, and Minnesota.  Shannon is a frequent op-ed writer and speaker, presenting on topics like "Why we're divided and what you can do about it" and "How to make your advocacy bipartisan (and why you should)." She was a member of the MYALP cohort in 2022 and a Humphrey Policy Fellow 2020-2021.     Ep 130 | THE QUEEN OF WHY with Jeannette Cieszykowski

    MEET JEANNETTE Jeannette Cieszykowski was born and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. Her passion for Feng Shui began seven years ago while completing her master’s program in Landscape Architecture at Kansas State University. During her academic career, she began studying the history of Feng Shui and its principles. She worked tirelessly on her final project titled “Restoring the Night” when she became determined to uncover how we can use artificial light to extend the benefits of restorative landscapes and healing spaces. She became fascinated with the healing capabilities of our environment and the components of Feng Shui. As a landscape architect, working behind a desk, she deeply missed interacting with people. She transitioned into lighting sales, where she spent time working with architects, interior designers, and engineers on finding optimal lighting for their spaces. She still missed the personal aspect of talking to people about their troubles, aspirations, and helping them become their best selves, living their dream life in their ideal environment.
