Thanks for putting together a quality show! The episode with Shandy is very interesting to me. I’m currently also based in New York and working in design consultancy as a UX designer for years. I’m very interested to know the difference between working in consultancy vs. in-house. Thought Shandy’s experience echoed some of my challenges working in consultancy and also exposed me to the experience working as a in-house designer. Recently I transitioned from senior designer to a manger role, the senior designer role discussion was very relatable to my experience. As a Taiwanese, I find that we are often so critical or have doubts about ourselves. Being able to accolade our strength and acknowledge our weaknesses is a lesson that I’m still working on as well.
