    Acts 9:19-31

    In Paul's powerful conversion, we see how God can turn our pain into compassion! How God will save us from a particular situation, lifestyle or belief and use us to go back into those areas and preach the good news of Jesus! But how many of us have turned up our noses to those that struggle with the things we once did? God wants to remind us this week that our testimony testifies that if God did it for us, He can do it for others! We're also encouraged to be a Barnabas to the new convert. To encourage those who might not have someone in their corner to believe in them! Barnabas gives us the prime example of what it means to stand with a brother, rather than stand in their way! When the radically saved new convert is presented to us, are we quick to fan the flame and be there to encourage and build up? Or are we quick to put water on their fire because we choose to hide that theres no passionate fire in our own life?

    Acts 9:1-9

    Just because your sincere does not mean you're in line with God's will. This week we start to see Saul's conversion, and how Jesus Himself intervenes on the road to Damascus. And how God call's one of His followers to step out into unknown waters. This week's message beg's a question we might of heard before: How many times does God have to ask you to do something? Like Ananias, do we come up with an excuse when we're fearful of the outcome? But if we continue reading the story, God does not reply to our excuse, but says "Go". As a believer we should be reminded of the need of grace over our lives, so that way we can be quick to extend that same grace over others. Sometimes that might be out of our way, cost you something financially or inconvenience you in some way. But God called us to commitment not comfort. Trust in God, is this week's driven message. What if our next step for our purpose in life comes when we take that next step. When we go out of our way and follow God's leading Spirit? Just know, that on the other side of your obedience stands somebody in need...

    Expand Your Tent (ft. Pastor Mario Alonso)

    Acts 8:25-40

    Are we quick to leave our life of blessing, when God calls us to enter in a desert path, not knowing where He may lead? Sometimes we as Followers can white-knuckle the "good life" God has provided, instead of obeying His instruction to enter into a new season. Phillip ran to fulfill God's word, when God merely asked him to walk. How is your response time when God highlights a stranger, a family member, a brother in need to speak life into? We're reminded that delayed obedience is disobedience. Our goal as His children should be to hear His whisper and immediately move to the rhythm of His instruction. To walk in faith, not having to know the outcome He has in store. Lastly, we're told that we were saved for more than ourselves, and that real people's lives are effected by our obedience and disobedience. Can we truly be called His son or daughter if we're self-seeking and turning a blind eye to those in need? Hear all about it in this week's message.

    Acts 8:9-25

    When was the last time you heard a message on "sorcery"? What are the first things that come to mind? Although we might have a rough idea, the bible is very clear on what it is and why you as a believer should stay away from it. Sorcery is still active in our day-to-day lives, wether it's astrology horoscopes, or black magic, the bible states that it is a real power tied to the demonic forces. We're told that it is a counterfeit form of power and that the believer has access to the source of true power when baptized by the Holy Spirit. Does your heart burn for more?     Acts 8:1-8

    God did not save us from the power's of sin, just for His Church to be quiet. When the believer take's God's word serious and walks it out in with a holy lifestyle, persecution typically follows. When we read this week regarding the early church's persecution, we're faced with what that actually looks like and what it does not look like. It does not mean we're being irritated by a coworker or family member, true persecution costs. Our faith must remove us from our couches, into the world for the great commission and the saving of souls. This week we touch on how sometimes we can be disappointed when we don't get the answers the way we thought, but that does not mean, our prayers were not answered. We're reminded of the sovereignty of God and His ways. Finally, we're taught the authority we have over the demonic! That Jesus gave us the power to shake loose the chains of torment by demons through Him! There is an exciting life God is calling us to, and He begs the question: "Can I take you to the unknown?"

    Hannah: From Struggle to Promise

    In this week's message, we celebrate the mother's around the world! When God gives you a promise as a mother, are we quick to stand firm on it, or are we ruled by our emotions trying to control the outcome with our own effort? Hannah was given a promise and in the end, through continual prayer and fasting, she received the promise God gave. But what did she do when she had the son God promised her through Eli? She gave him back to the Lord. Our kids are one's we're to steward in the ways of God, they're not ours to control. Because at the end of the day, they were God's first before He entrusted them to your womb.
